Agreed, the key word being in-faction. However, unless I am mistaken, Arcanist Marcus does not have access to Rougarou, Hounds, Bandersnatch, et. al.. Likewise, Neverborn Marcus can hire Chimera models listed in the Arcanist faction, but not Blessed of December.

Marcus only has access to Neverborn miniatures with the Chimera keyword when declaring Arcanist. Currently, that's only the Razorspine Rattler.

Does Malifaux have vampires? Yes, and the reason we can't see them is because they're hiding in plain sight: they're standing in the sunlight and sparkling so brilliantly the eye can't discern their shape. 😉

What about Som'er Teeth Jones in a white linen suit jacket and matching hat a la Fred Astaire? Orange flourishes for the shoulder brocade and the feathers in the hat. 😁

Mannequin to "tournament quality" for 4 ss.

It looks okay to me. It makes sense that a mimic might have odd proportions and be able to rotate his knives with deft swiftness. His solid stance also makes sense. Lucius' man (or creature?) is confident and ready for instructions as to his target.

I did a basecoat of a single colour today. 😁 Just celebrating the small victories...

Unless I have missed something huge, the beta testers didn't receive new models, either the completely new releases in M3E or new sculpts of previous edition models. I presume they just did the playtesting with proxy models where required. E.g. using a Ramos miniature to stand in for Von Schtook, or a Shikome to represent the future Marcus' Chimera Order Initiate. I think we will all just have to keep an eye on the gradual revealing of new miniatures and sculpts in pre-view, such as just occurred with the Dreamer crew.

I love the red and purple in the concept art. I can't wait to see someone who paints them similarly once the miniatures are available.

That's a Ronin on the far right, if I am not mistaken. Which faction's dogs are those to the left, and what are the metal figures? What's their total M2E soulstone value?

I am determined to get there in the coming weeks.
