  1. Hey guys. Some great work as always. @Caedrus For Aug I've completed 2x Shikome (14) and 5x Seishin (10) Total = 24
  2. @misterfinn thanks that's nice to hear yeah I'm going with the carrot too. Have a completely free day this Saturday so gonna just paint whatever captures my interest and not rush it, just enjoy the process That Shinobi looks awesome! Can't wait to see more
  3. Thanks guys, some good advice. I think I'm gonna finish the shikome this month as i made a start on them last month and then stop trying to finish keywords and just look through the box of shame and pick some models that I'm excited about painting. Maybe switch to some terrain too for a change of scenery (pardon the pun) @Chou I'll be at the the UK nationals so hopefully we'll get to play
  4. @SteampunkCake We had a thread back in 2e which was like A Goryo assembly support group, where people came to vent their Goryo assembly rage. Your not alone
  5. So how does everyone handle painting burnout? I've recently been rushing paint jobs to get things on the table with a "that'll do" attitude. I think this was a precursor to my burnout. Now 12 days into August and I haven't picked up a brush yet
  6. The Dragon Commands it - Friendly Monk only. Target may take the interact action or a Action Can this action be used to make an Aspiring Student take an interact action even though they are insignificant?
  7. @Pinocchio I'll take the vintage Pandora. Sent you a message on FB
  8. for August I'm gonna try and finish the Urami Keyword. So 2x Shikome, 5x Seishen, 2x Drowned and 3x Gaki so 48 stones
  9. @Franchute Thanks I think for Kirai and Jaakuna it was GW's Averland Sunset with a tiny dab of Mournfang brown mixed in then a Seraphim Sepia wash. For Ikiryo it was Zamesi Desert with a bit more Mournfang mixed in and an Agrax Earthshade wash @misterfinn Thanks Yeah you're right paints should've been thinner although i think some of that on the Goryo and Kirai may have been caused by glue.
  10. Some really nice work as always this month! @Caedrus I managed to get a fair chunk of my Urami done. Kirai (15) Ikiryo (8) Datsu Ba (9) 2x Goryo (16) 2x Onryo (10) Jaakuna (8) and Lost Love (5) Total for July = 71
  11. Ah right i get ya. Yeah there's no point in hitting him with high damage attacks But yes good points made, there's plenty of ways to deal with a Tormented crew. I've had problems against fast crews that can outrun the tormented. Take schemes like Breakthrough and Power Ritual etc as the tormented have a hard time denying those even with the push tricks
  12. Do you mean in the sense that they mostly just do 1 damage? Because there's nothing that bypasses Jack's Undying ability. If he take's 3 from burning he can still discard a card to change the damage to 1
  13. Yep just looking through some condition removal abilities and they all say 'end' so i guess it can't be
  14. A question about Montresor's Hanging Ropes ability Hanging Ropes: The staggered condition cannot end on enemy models within 6. So staggered doesn't end at the end of their activation if they're within 6 of Montresor but can it be removed with condition removal?
  15. @Franchute I tip my hat to your impulsive and erratic painting adventure
  16. Yeah they're some of my favourites. I've not had much luck painting feathers in the past though, may have to go look for some tutorials
  17. So... sensible went out the window... instead of TOS I'm gonna pledge the Urami keyword and maybe fit in some Doomseekers if I get bored of painting murder ghosts
  18. Although it's the release day of M3e and I want to pledge some Malifaux models I'm gonna do the sensible thing and finish one project before I start another. So I'm pledging 9x Doomseekers and an Immolated Rhino for 55 stones
  19. Francis Kitchener appears to be called Lost love again, at least on these version of the cards
  20. oooooooh the new transmortis students look amazing
