    Yes, there’s been very little actual brushwork on them.

    Things are shaping up, but still needs final touches and detailing - really love these bases, cobblestone and trash.

    So I ended up getting sick of painting - as I was waiting for an order, that never showed - but now the doctor is about to get ready to cure my slump.

    So the order just arrived, and my ressers now number McMourning & Seamus Dead doxies an extra construct Bete Noire rogue necromancy Shikome chiaki the niece and Rafkin. - now I’m just hoping for a rainy day to paint them up 😛

    Great, I already got Lelu, Lilitu and Nekima. So I’m thinking. Pandora Teddy Iggy - pyromaniac kid seems like a great idea. Doppleganger sadly, neither stitched nor insidious seems available, but then the widow weaver model caught my fancy. Then I’ll catch the Dreamer later. does this seem like a Fun collection for now?

    So I’m looking at the neverborn, and want to paint up a Pandora and a Dreamer crew, although I don’t know what to supplement them with, or which to begin with. So what 1-2 boxes would you get to supplement either?

    I’ve just gotten too old to buy models/minis, I don’t like the look of. Not that my perception can’t change - I wasn’t particularly fond of the 2nd executioner either, but once I painted him up, I learned to like him

    So I want to add to my collection - yet still haven’t manager to play a game. And since I at some point have my sights set on The Dreamer and Pandora, I though, I might as well cross over via Lucius.     Since it’s hard to highlight reds, without straying into alternate colours, you could shade it towards purple/blue/black?

    Next up will be a pack of Guild hounds. Then McMourning will come a’knockin’ with an entourage og Bete Noire and Rafkin. While Nekima, Lelu and Lilitu will herald the beginning of a glorious neverborn collection.

    Makes sense, since Stalk only allows you to move one model, so it becomes a case of diminishing returns – and also, once you have two models like a Rogue Necromancy + two monster hunters, then you've already spent most of your soul stones on the one trick

    Lady J. Has such a poor hairday, luckily she stumbled upon a wide brimmed marshalls hat.

    Hi. I just started the journey into Malifaux too. My advice to you is to take it easy, and don’t think about winning games at the moment. Get the models that makes you want to paint, and that conveys a coherent theme. Then get those models table ready and learn how to play. You’ll lose, ‘cause older players have more experience with the mechanics and a wider model collection to tailor their game anyway. So just tale your licks, while you learn and find your playstyle. My initial purchase involved the Latigo Posse, Austringers and the Peacekeeper. They looked to have a good theme, lots of guns and then a big scary melee beater for variation. The only thing I should have included in that order was the Brutal Effigy - its a given in most Guild Lists. - since then the collection has grown with all Lady J’s marshalls - and I’m looking to top it up with Doctor McMurder and friends.
