  1. Killed models are killed by the model that generated the Action or Ability that killed them (p. 25 digital). When Wanga Mojo is attached Linked Fate becomes Ability of the model it was attached to.
  2. If your model is exactly 2" away, it is still within 2" aura and can't take attack actions from charge.
  3. Models normally don't generate cover or concealment. In malifaux you can shoot through your friends without any penalties if you can see your target's little finger.
  4. No. You can't "end this model's activation", because it's not this model's activation and this effect is simply ignored. The situation is the same as when you must discard a card, but have no cards in hand.
  5. Yes, you can. Dead models are completely removed from the game with all their cards and have no further game effects.
  6. 1. Suit printed next to Stat is always included in your final duel total. Freicorps Scout always has a mask and the suit of flipped card. If you flip a ram, you can choose which trigger you want to declare. 2. Masters an Henchmen can use one soulstone before performing a duel to add a suit of your choice to the final duel total. So Lady J can get a mask from a stone and a ram from the card and vice versa to get the trigger. Keep in mind that you need only the suit printed in TN column to succeed with the action. Triggers are optional effects that may need additional resources. Lady J needs a 5+ card and a mask to Leap, but if you want an extra attack you need an extra ram. There are also different Abilities and Actions that give you an opportunity to add suits. For example Magical Influence of Wyzz-bang models or Mei Feng's Press The Advantage.
  7. A miniature from m2e alternative McCabe box. It is treated as a Rough Rider this edition
  8. That's right. You can resolve the move part of Charge action, but if your model ends move within (2) from a model with Extended Reach - it can't attack.
  9. Somer+Sparks combo (without Pigapult) works fine if you give bombs to Skeeters turn one. They are mobile enough to move in position and hide behind terrain. After that they are ready to threaten enemy models turn two.
  10. "Middle" tables are not any worse, than "top" or "bottom" ones. Keeping track of the tables each player played at is absolutely necessary. I think it's obvious and didn't mention it.
  11. If you need a "technical" solution for table rotation, I use the following method: Round 1 - tables assigned randomly. Round 2 - the top pair goes to table №1, the second to table №2 and so on. If someone has already played on assigned table just move them to the next one. Round 3 - the top pair goes to the last table and the last pair to table №1. Rounds 4,5,6,7 etc - pick a table the top pair hasn't played at yet and go up or down the list of tables. It's also very convenient to have a spare table or two if possible.
  12. No. Injured is part of Action's effect and is applied only if Action is successful. Both variants are wrong. Action effects are resolved one after another in the order they are written on the card. You fully resolve damage first and only after that apply injured. According to Damage timing (p.34) When Resolving triggers that modify damage are applied on step 2 - at this step you add +1 damage for Shielded. Damage reduction is step 3. Damage is reduced by Shielded and any other effects here. After damage is fully resolved target gets Injured. According to the FAQ 2.6 stat is only the number, suits and [+] modifiers are copied.
  13. Throwing two stuffed piglets with Bombs In Your Belly can be devastating even for Dreamer. It's potentially 1*2 from Full Load + 2 from Demise (from Stuffed Piglet #1, that fails duel from second Full Load) + 3*2 from upgrades. A total of 10 damage if Dreamer fails all 3 mv duels. Unfortunately a skilled player will not put Dreamer within Pigapult range without stones and cards in hand.
  14. From my experience Burt should be played as the second line fighter. He stays behind Swine Cursed and Alphonse and feels pretty safe, because his df trigger makes him a low-priority target.
  15. I think Burt is fine as is. He has a great df trigger, great melee and a good gun. Any improvements will make him too good.
  16. For example, because it doesn't say "place X for each token gained"
  17. We can't get an FAQ for every action, ability and effect, that's why we have to make principles from what we get from Wyrd. If you say, that this particular FAQ entry is only and only for Lone Swordsman, and must be ignored for all other models, how would you resolve a situation with Zoraida hitting the same model twice with Poisoned Fate?
  18. I think it's the only official ruling from Wyrd more or less applicable for this situation. It's better than nothing.
  19. According to FAQ two instances of the same effect on the same model are not cumulative (see FAQ 12.3).
  20. Such effects are resolved only once after resolving an action, regardless of how many flicker tokens were gained during that action.
  21. You wanted to say "from you who defeated that allmighty yan lo list on the last tournament". Sorry for this little chat, guys. Vladimir "not so empty" is a very good player and his Yan Lo crew is a hell to deal with, but I believe that in Malifaux a strong master can be played in several different ways.
  22. Especially the last one, that he lost 1:7 after his engine failed to start turn one. It's a great illustration for "the only true way to play".
  23. You can expect your opponent to pick Dreamer and pick your master based on this expectations.
  24. Do you have any other Bayou masters? I know how to beat Dreamer with Ophelia, Zipp and even Ulix, but not Mah (because Tricksy is the weakest keyword in faction). That's true. You must apply as much pressure as possible in early game. Start building your list with a couple of hard hitting models with Inferiority Complex. Most Dreamer players don't like it when you kill their precious LCB and spend a lot of resources to save him - even if you don't succeed (which is unlikely) you burn enemy stones and good cards which means less summon in future. Also you should reveal your schemes as fast as possible. It spares you some resources to concentrate on scoring strategy and preventing enemy from scoring.
