  1. There are not much models in Arcanist to attack the Wp. Use pulse damage if you are playing with ramos, kaeris or raspy. In raspy's case, blast damage is an option too. In Marcus or Colette crew it shouldn't be a problem, you will have enough movility tricks, and if you want to kill them put some negatives on them. Mei and Iron don't have that kind of tricks, but Ml 7 against Df 7 won't be a problem for a long.
  2. 1 Unkeep 2 Score VP 3 look for a 6th turn. So the game don't finish till 3. Effects that finish at the end of the turn are resolved in 1. Then you earn VP in 2. Effects that are till the end of the game,(or in the end of the game), are finished in 3 and only if there aren't more turns. In fact by the rule book you are not wining more VP after the end of the game, but it is a more specific rule in some schemes that allows you to do it.
  3. So you obey with Zoraida an enemy, lets call it A, this model A, controled by Zoraida, attacks another enemy model B, and you want B relent from A? It's the model B who chooses to relent, and you are not controlling B. But if your oponent wants to relent I'll go with that he can.

When I play against Nvb and Rezzers I expect tons of lures. If I want my Henchman not being lured, (as Snowy), I use this upgrade. And don't forget Oxfordians!!
  5. I don't see protect territoy as the easiest scheme at all. There are so many ways to avoid the enemy protect territory. Killing the models, moving them, put more models around, removing scheme Markers... Do you really think is the easiest?

    Against Neverborn or Ressers. Always
  7. Much of the schemes are more or less dificult depending of the crew you have in front and the rest of the pool and strategy. And the oponent is important too. A new player see really easy to do protect territory, but in fact is easier to Avoid than others. To me, and in general, Assasinate can be difficult, and in some cases imposible to get the 3VP. With BodyGuard, the problem is that in a tournament you never know if you will play the 5th turn, so score 3VP is a mistery. If you have a good oponent, Take prisioner, frame for murder and outflank are so hard to score 3VP. The easiest schemes to me against a good oponent are: power ritual, breakthrough, plant explosives and plant evidences.
  8. That is not right. Triggers that activate "after..." are resolved after step 5 of the duel. So after resolve all the other effects of the attack.
  9. Dirial has a point: LoS only needs to touch the target, (not enter in). And as I said before if a LoS line touch the model, it touch the marker too.
  10. Sure, I think that is the controller of the model which suffers the effect of the aura who determines which effect to suffers. Just because the way is redacted and when a model suffers several effects is the controller who determine the order, I think is a clue for this too. EDIT: I don't have the cards here, but I want to ask this: If a model is within two of those auras which requires to discard a card or suffers some effects, Needs the model discard a card for both auras or one for each aura?
  11. Is 4dg to the Sorrow, so reduce to 2dg. Pandy use Martyr, so she would suffer 1 dg and the Sorrow suffers 1 dg too.
  12. If a model can draw LoS to the model on the marker, then the model will have LoS to the marker bellow the model, is simple as that. LoS will hit model and marker. Remember that you draw LoS with a top dawn vision. If you have 20 Scheme markers in the same place one over one you will have LoS to all of them and not only to the first one. Same case.
  13. 1) The shikome declares the charge to the poisoned gunsmith, and spend 1 AP. 2) Perform the duel. 3) If it fails she charge Ironside. Based in page 35 of the rulebook.
  14. We have to think un auras and pulses as cylinders around the model which generated it.
  15. So just to clarification... Can an aura generated by a Ht 2 model affect a model on a Ht 3 building? (They have LoS and are in Rg)
  16. As Dirial says: You first damage, then kill the model, and then resolve the trigger. So when the model dies it had not the brilliance condition. In adition: The model is killed when it is reduce to 0 wounds, but you don't remove it from play after resolve all the triggers.
  17. The marker and the model on it are in the same place, so if a LoS line touch the model it touch the marker too. Just because the LoS are drawn from a "top down" view ignoring all vertical height. (Page 41) So YES, others models will have LoS to the marker bellow the model.
  18. Thats my point, you have to be in LoS with the markers if you are able to be in base contact. Sorry I express myself as ***
  19. I'm gonna express my opinion in a post, and this is my last one in this issue. I'll try to use the Rulebook. Also: You don't need LoS to Cast the action, so you can't draw LoS through the Vulture AND the action has no Range, (page 9), so you cannot measure from the Vulture. Anyway the Vulture action is only to draw LoS and measure Range from it, (and only concerns the Rg and LoS of the Ca actions, not the effects), you are not casting through it or something like that.
  20. You don't need to have LoS to the scheme marker to remove it, only need to be in base contact, and you would be in base contact with all the scheme markers. But the question about if I have LoS to the markers below, is the same that the initial post, and it is relevant for actions that can remove markers in a pulse or something. I would play it like yes, you have LoS to the markers. I think that if you have two 30mm bases in the same position, you should have LoS to both. Just because any LoS which is touching the one on the top is touching the other, the Ht of the marker should not influence because the LoS is drawn in a top point of view.
  21. There is some unsolved questions here that are not FAQ'd yet. I see this question clear, honestly. I've seen questions you people wouldn't believe. Joking
  22. In my experience in this forum you wont get an oficial response, and it doesn't seem like this is gonna be faqed. Play it as you agree with your comunity. I'm from Spain too and we play as I told you before.
  23. 1) Don't stack like that, just reduce one first and then the other. 2) Bullet proof and armor are different abilities, so ignores armor only allows to do that. Some triggers and abilities says that damage can't be reduce those would allow to ignore armor and bullet proof.
  24. If I remember, the rule says that the models lose abilities and actions that allows to ignore terrain. I like to play this rule as you can't use those abilities and actions to ignore impasible terrain, but not losing those abilities and actions. You can do this following the current rules if you define only some sceno as enclosed terrain. For example if you are in a cave it would be trait as enclosed terrain, but have no sense if I lose leap actions to cross through open terrain. So I define the pilars and some big structures as enclosed and impasible terrain.
