They looks great, very nice smooth and clean painting. Nice colours for Captain and mages.

Inspiration for Johana was my work clothes: orange+reflective tape. I tried to mix some silver and white and put it to her boots but effect is not very reflective like. Maybe somebody has idea for it?

Well, i do not have any more showgirls, need to wait for plastic Coryphee and Colette/Cooper. It's a good time to paint something different, like Filth... err, i mean Guild.

I listen to music, something very calm like Drip 133 or Solar Fields.

Seems that some late metal minis was scaled down to plastics size like Lady J or Avatar Colette. Other looks even bigger like alt Viks, which are great sculpts just a little large (at least painting their eyes is not so painful).

While there is quite wide spectrum of female characters in Malifaux, male are mostly weirdos/caricatures/old men. I have five masters and none of them is a male. The closest one from existing in Malifaux characters which I would like to see as master, just because of style and backround and without looking at abilities, is Sue but he is not even a henchman. It would be nice to see some plain melee dedicated male master, or rifleman, Roland/Axton (from Borderlands) style, maybe rogue CSA cavalry officer (ranged) or steam motorcycle gang leader (for a melee) for example. As for pin up girls in Malifaux I like that style and would like to see some more. But that's my opinion. Sales results say about what players want more than my rants or thousand posts from same three Malifaux fans. When I first read about Angel Eyes I thought it would be he. And be the ugly one... or maybe he was The Bad one... Yes, he was The Bad. So shall we expect now The Good outcast and The Ugly errr... guild/resser/gremlin girl?

I was trying to be grumpy, I wasn't looking for sensible answer Anyway I would agree with Dgraz: previous artwork was better for pretty much same reasons. This one is another "look at my big muscles" model. Painting fur sounds like long and annoying process.

What happened to his fur? Is he sick?
