  1. 2" melee ranges do a lot for Tri-Chi controlling the table preventing interact actions. How about we simplify it even more. Luchadores: This model may declare the Toss In The Mudd action instead of a Action during a charge.
  2. The First Mate as a leader is F'N amazing! Picking from a mix of Bayou, Neverborn ... and technically Outcast.... models with both keywords is fascinating for list building.
  3. Her big key is summoning off of you're models with the Fast condition. Typically she'll add Fast to models that have already activated so they can choose when she'll target them before they get to go next turn. If a model that has not activated yet gets Fast, most times you'll want to activate it immediately so they can't use fast against you... but sometimes they are trying to force you to activate that model earlier than you wanted/needed to for some other reason. Tanuki & Wesley have Sober Up to remove a condition, & Fingers can "One More Question" & Boring Topic your own stuff to cancel Fast. The advantage you have is there is little condition removal in Outcast... Aionus, Scion, & Johan(a), offensively & defensively. The crew lives by its triggers; if you can get Stunned out there it will help.
  4. If the Riddles In The Dark action did not cap out at 2, other models that have it (i.e.: Youko), would be overly destructive!
  5. I go Fermented River Monks over Whiskey Golem.... but I was raised on Hong Kong action movies so I'm very biased! Either one, you can't go wrong.
  6. Akaname I feel don't do anywhere near as good in Bayou as they do in an Oni crew. Burt is just kind of there as a model with nothing to draw anyone in to hire him.
  7. This was in response to @Mycellaniouscomment that it just be an action instead of an Interact action.
  8. Seeing as almost everything to do with Strategies resolves around Interact Actions, I don't see that changing. Hamelin will hire 12 rats and the wagon will be across the center line before turn 1 is over... no one wants that.
  9. It's only one action being resolved, therefore you only push one model.
  10. Each player gets a 50mm "Wagon" Marker. You get a strategy point at the end of each turn if any part of your Marker is over the centerline. A model can move the Marker with an Interact action; it moved 2" if the model was on a 30mm base, 3" if the model was on a 40mm base, and 4" if the model was on a 50mm base. You can move your opponent's marker the same way. (This is from memory, I may have a detail off)
  11. I loved Supply Wagons. I also loved Turf War.... bring both of those back.
  12. If there's not a lot if impassable terrain on the table, take Lucky. He's very table dependent, but in the tables he's clear to steamroller over, always the better bet.
  13. You cannot drop a friendly scheme marker within 4" of another friendly scheme marker with an Interact Action (page 22 of the rulebook) reguardless of the model, unless some other rule/ability/action tells you you can.
  14. It's very risky! I like playing that way. ...and the piglets are supposed to die, then they drop scheme markers where they stand (on the center, preferably), that's how you get quick points. But I like playing the game on the razor's edge; but I'm aware it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
  15. I don't do a football strategy with this.... folks move to places then I throw the stone to them already in position. Zipp and Piglets crowd the center with pianos for both Leave Your Mark & Claim Jump.
  16. Green Lives Matter (Bayou) Size: 50 - Pool: 4 Leader: Captain Zipp Twelve Cups of Coffee Totem(s): Earl Burns Hires: Mancha Roja The First Mate Flying Piglet Flying Piglet 2 Flying Piglet 3 Iron Skeeter Iron Skeeter 2 Two Gremlins in a Ghillie Suit
  17. Here's my double edged sword: if both Claim Jump & Leave Your Mark are in to pool, I take Infamous, because they eat scheme markers as an afterthought.... so that means most likely they are not taking these schemes.
  18. Well stat 4 on the Nests are even less of a guarantee.... but we work with what we have!
  19. Aww man, I didn't even notice that because I never get her close enough to any enemy models, I just use her to create Husks, drop scheme markers for more E&E summoning, & focus just in case things go bad.
  20. Guild Hounds are best summoned for bodies to throw in front of the Dispatcher, which then become Corpse Markers, which then become Soul Stones.
  21. Damn, that's roug.... pretty bad for Guild Frontier players.
  22. It's kind of sad the only guaranteed token givers are the Totems. I understand why.... but I'd just like one more guaranteed way. Even like a Trigger on a Resisted Action with a TN on an Enforcer, just to get 1 more solid source.
  23. Metas are a weird thing. Here, Levi has been played so much it's either been countered by repetition or people got bored using him, while every Resser and their grandmother they brought back from the dead plays Molly. ... meanwhile somehow Dreamer is universally everywhere.
  24. Well Dreamer is definitely in the top of the "meta" overpowered things so might not wanna go that route. Wong & Ulix are both of the crazy mechanic scale in Bayou, and Zipp is the pirate king of crazy lore. Currently Ophelia is the cheapest entry in the whole game as the entire keyword is in 2 boxes; her mechanics are unique and her lore is good Lucius is very high risk high reward, unique mechanics & impeccable lore, with a steep.... STEEP learning curve; I wouldn't recommend as a first master because it's so hard. But, I've seen people do it and come out amazing, eventually. Zoraida is also similar to Lucius in a different way, but also in that "meta" overpowered things group. Keeping in Neverborn, Euripides is the next most unique mechanic but minimal lore because he's new. The other more unique mechanics that are not dominating the scene are Leveticus in Outcast, Marcus in Arcanists/Neverborn, Jack Daw in Resserectionists/Outcast, Jacob Lynch in Ten Thunders, & Maxine Agassiz in Explorer's Society (but her stuff is not out yet).
  25. Yeah, if they were all Min 3 and everyone ignored either armor or shielded, that would be a that great glass cannon concept.... but they're all glass, no cannon. Not even good glass that will cut you either; all safety glass.
