Couldn't Wyrd do a trade in for the cards where you can send them back? I know I'm pretty upset about paying for a card with misinformation.

Either way I am so excited. I'd have to agree that I think it will be the large arachnid. I think it's a goo redesign since the new BA looks like the old LA.

Made some progress on Ramos and Joss. Joss is mostly just a start, undercoating but a clear color scheme. Ramos I fell is close, but needs something to "pop". Any guides or examples for the eye? I've never done this so I'd like to see example to be sure. As for the bases I haven't decided yet. Probably a mix of sand/tea and inked with brown? As for adding more detail I think I will try another drybrush of a really light silver to add more variation? Maybe adding more detail to the blue coming through the model like the artwork.

How is shipping from the US I've never ordered before so I've never taken a look. I'll mostly be picking up minis and a couple decks, but I wouldn't hate picking up all the old books as well. Would it be around $10 or can I expect more if I got the books?

Totally understandable with the totem. It might not hurt to go looking into getting the old metal model. That's what I use for my Ramos crew.

Hello friends, I haven't painted miniatures in quite awhile so I'm quite foggy on what I'm doing. I've noticed that when I start to apply paint, that the detail seemed to disappear on the model. I'm using Vallejo paints, do I need to thin the paint?

Looking at their painting miniatures was actually why I didn't go with Infinity when I was looking for a skirmish game. They just didn't appeal to me. Malifaux had the theme and to be honest I can see more with the renders than anything. I can see the colors I want to do and come up with my own color schemes, where the painted miniatures just give me a restricted feeling. Two sides to the coin.

Will these be any different than the previous ones, or are they just updated packaging?

I've got the Ramos M2E box set, an old brass arachnid, an extra box of spiders. Planning on using the M2E BA as a proxy for a Large Arachnid. Where should I expand from here? I think my next master for Arch's would be Kaeris, but no idea when she is coming out. From what's been said Mei would probably been my next purchase, but would a Rail Golem or Metal Gamins play well with Ramos?

Also the new chronicles mentioned the Strat and Scheme deck will be priced at $15 for those interested (page 41). 19 schemes, 7 faction schemes, 5 strats, 14 story encounters, 3 references, 4 multiplayer encounters.

Hello friends, Just saw that the older books are available as pdfs. I picked up the smaller rule book for m2e, so I currently have no experience with the fluff. If I were interested in learning more about Ramos and Pandora, would the core 1.5 rule book have the background I am looking for, or should I start with the other books?

What if instead of including miniatures at all, there was like a beginners kit that was more of a companion rather than a choose all end all. Imagine a player looking at a Warhammer starter set and seeing that it were Elves and Skaven, they want the starter set because that is where they think they will learn the game, but they are truly more interested in Dwarves. To a perspective player this would be discouraging buying in to an army that you wouldn't really want. Yeah the Malifaux starter could do a more neutral unit, but it might be better to just have a kit that includes some of the things listed. A couple decks, some simple terrain, measuring do-hickeys, counters, etc. If a new player were to look then, their purchase would be somewhat simple. Pick the crew box that you have interest in (something similar to how players start now), pick up the starter kit companion, and finally the (most likely) slim rule book. This keeps it cheap to entry (35/40$ for crew box, 15$ rule book, 25/30$? for kit - around $80). The price is close to what a starter should be, but any crew could be played.
