  1. 1. They immediately lose 1 General AP if they have one left. 2. Otherwise, they lost 1 General AP from their next activation.
  2. Sounds like a good crew to me. Perdita's box plus an Enslaved Nephilim is a lot of fun.
  3. Silurids are considered Silurids, yes. There's a weird mechanic here: a model with the Silurid trait, or a model named Silurid, are both considered Silurids. (It's kind of like how both a model in the Neverborn faction like a Sorrow, and a model with the Neverborn trait in another faction like Killyjoy, both are considered Neverborn.)
  4. As a queer man, I have got to object here. I painted my Mature Nephilim with a black tunic and dark beard, and he looks TOTALLY like one of the bear leather daddies that I see at the clubs all the time. Seriously. I'll post pictures if needed. But hooey, that Mature Nephilim looks like part of the family to me, more than either Young Nephilim. Next up: I'm converting my Avatar Ramos so that his electricity arc is a rainbow flag.
  5. Yep, CunningStunt has it. Ashes and Dust are like the Stitched Together of Outcasts: nearly invulnerable to Slaughter, Grudge, Kill Protege, etc.
  6. I'm picturing the following scenario: Brawl with Hoffman and Leveticus, with Collodi as a Henchman. (Collodi in this situation is crazy fast because he has 8 Marionettes! I know Hoffman interferes with many of Collodi's auras and pulse spells because of his Dampening Field.) Can Hoffman use Drawn to Metal to get dragged along when Marionettes pull Collodi with Pull Strings? Pull Strings is (surprisingly) considered a Walk and not a Push.
  7. Quick Draw: Yes, Perdita can make a Quick Draw shot when someone is within melee, but her range is only 2 melee -- she still can't shoot out from melee with a ranged weapon, except by using Gunfighter. Immune to Influence: Yes, Immune to Influence stops spells (and any other effect) that are resisted with Wp. Note that this doesn't include static Wp checks (like Harmless and Terrifying checks). Pitiful: No, Terrifying models don't ignore Pitiful unless they have some other ability that says they do. (Lord Chompy Bits, for instance, has such an ability.) Mass Override: Yes, Mass Override can affect Masters, including Ramos, Hoffman, Leveticus, and Collodi. I'm not sure if Perfect Machine can ignore it, but I think so. Breach Psychosis and Irresistible: Breach Psychosis makes Ryle immune to Irresistible. Unless he is somehow within 12 inches of Pandora. EDIT: I AM WRONG ON THIS.
  8. Mind you, I'm the person who wrote the PullMyFinger wiki article on C. Hoffman, and it's all Theoryfaux. I agree that he really doesn't seem to stand up as strong as most Avatars, or as tough as pre-Avatar Hoffman. Maybe he works out better in play. I sure hope so. Or maybe he'll get errata before he's released.
  9. It looks intriguing and strange. Why the "No casting cost"? It seems like a fairly minor effect. "Without Love" seems like it could be hard to track. An opponent may not be aware they should be counting how many models they have killed. The spells look like they could become very, very hard to resist. I assume the 20 in the Trigger means you need a total of 20 or more, yes? Which you could get with a Red Joker and two models near the target? Seems rare that it'll happen, but intriguing. Have you tried this model in play?
  10. You could just give them all "Comes Cheap" maybe? I don't know Heroscape at all, but I am looking through the model abilities -- I admire the work you put into this, and I'll look more at balance and such later.
  11. I think there was an older story that had Adam as a main character too.
  12. I ove the base on the Perdita Avatar! So tall!
  13. I could see it happening if you're playing a three-player game. "Hey, Colette, I can save your poisoned Coryphee Duet by using Zoraida's Obey and one of my own Soulstones. But only if you go kill Lord Chompy for me first."
  14. Great summary! Have you thought about putting this up on the Pullmyfinger Wiki? (Or maybe linking from that wiki to this entry?)
  15. I love this combo! I usually play a list something like this: 25 soulstone version Zoraida - 5ss plus Avatar - 2 Collodi - 8 Marionette x 4 - 8 Arcane Effigy - 4 Wicked Doll - 3 If I'm playing more soulstones, I'll generally add one or two Stitched Together or a Jack Daw. Collodi can zip all around the board, and the Marionettes and Wicked Dolls can catch up with him instantly. They accomplish all your speed objectives (this works nicely with Reclaim Malifaux.) Zoraida does her Zoraida trick (stand up somewhere and make a Voodoo Doll, then Obey and make trouble), or she can create more Wicked Dolls that jump up and support Collodi in a fight. Once Zoraida manifests, she can get a crazy number of damaging spells off (With Arcane Effigy, she can do 5 in a round). She also gathers huge numbers of cards, which helps if Jack Daw is in the hizouse. The only thing to remember is to keep Collodi within Zoraida's sight so she can make a Voodoo Doll of the enemy when they engage Collodi. Zoraida doesn't want to use Raven in this circumstance, because she wants to use her (0) actions to cast Crystal Ball so that she can Manifest more quickly. Hope this helps!
  16. Yeah, for Reclaim Malifaux, we always discuss beforehand what would or wouldn't count, and move terrain if it looks impossible.
  17. (I'm actually doing one or two last playtests for a Story Encounter designed to make Bishop optimal for the encounter, which I plan to post soon.)
  18. The impression that I get is this: Avatar Hoffman is intended to be used if your other Constructs are all dead and you want Hoffman to go out like a G.
  19. EternalVoid, thanks! Supply Wagon is a great example of a strategy that would be assisted by Insignificant models with weak attack. I totally get that Gupps are fast and resilient. It's just: what do they do after they survive and get where they're going?
  20. Thanks, EternalVoid! When specifically do you think you would use them? Like, what strategies and schemes? Or what situations?
  21. What they said. Also note that in a Brawl, Rare numbers are doubled, while Unique is still Unique.
