  1. I knew it'd be worth asking on here! To the googlemobile to seek answers and purchases! I'll keep you informed of any success Cheers
  2. Hey all, So malifaux's at 1:32 scale I think. In a rather ambitious (for me at least) basing idea I've had, I wanted to use bits of a model plane. Would a 1:24 airfix kit be too small, noting that the plane's going to be pretty much mangled and torn up, so there shouldn't be obvious points of comparison. If that's the case, does anyone know any other, reasonably priced, replica kit companies I could try. Thanks team!
  3. Lovely look, much more menacing. Are the hands pinned on?
  4. Oustanding work! I genuinly thought that was a WIP of the actual Avatar model, not a personal project. Can't wait to see a lick o' paint on it
  5. Very nice! Loving the Judge in that get-up, makes 'em look very Hellsingish. Can't wait to see more
  6. Only just found this thread: Great work all round! Really stand-up painting, with really good flesh tones and highlighting. As for the RN, I'm gonna have to be a little vague here, but I *think* the body's from the old metal bloodthirster mounts... I remember they were red and green and had a frilly head, like the little dino in Jurassic Park. Told you it'd be vague Keep up the good work!
  7. Yay, thank you! Love the rabbit popping out the hat: Modelling's all about the little things
  8. Love the colours! Any chance we can have some bigger pics? Looking for inspiration fr my girlfriend's crew atm ^^
  9. Love it! Even if the spider emblem isn't 100% perfect, the colours are the perfect shades to instantly get the reference! Can't wait to see how you're gonna tie his whole crew into it ;P
  10. Always a sign of a job well done ^^ Great work Deadpool, really inspiring!
  11. Loving the Art Deco feel of these gals! And I gotta say, the posing of the duet, with one balanced on the others shoulder, is a work of genius! Great work!
  12. @Dustcrusher Not at all dude Hopefully I can borrow my brothers camera for better pics once a few coats are on, to give a better impression of how it'll look... Watch this space ^^
  13. Yeah camphone pics I'm afraid, believe it or not they're better than what my ancient camera could produce. I feel I should add that it's not painted yet ;P The wolf's got a brown base coat as it's a recycled model from a friends army. When painted, the wolf, rat head and general energy-surge should all be shiny blood. Fingers crossed anyway!
  14. This is my first proper post on the forums, so a quick introduction is in order I think! I got into painting figures years ago, and dropped the hobby when I hit my mid teens. My elder brothers played various GW games, so I got interested through them, though was never fussed to play back then. A coupla years ago we retrieved our old Bloodbowl set from home and got some new teams, and since then I've been hooked on coolmini and looking at all the shiny things. I got into Malifaux earlier this year when a friend at work suggested we give it a try, and it's great! I automatically went for the Red Chapel Gang and haven't looked back! Anyhoo, these are the first images of my completed Rogue Necromancy, which is built following the strong lore of my gang. I may, or may not, post some fiction detailing my gangs back story, but for the moment it's about Tom (Seamus) and his younger brother Tiny (McMourning) trying to bring the ideal woman into the world, through conflicting means: Tom uses chaotic blood-alchemy/magic to conjure his fantasies, while Tiny sticks to good old fashion needle and thread, to build his creations. I wanted the Rogue Necromancy to look like the blood energy surging out of a host in every way, fighting with itself for freedom. What do you think? All feedback's welcome, though ideally nice feedback
  15. Gotta say, I love the discarded hobby-horse on the ground. Really brings to mind the image of the dreamer carelessly playing throughout Malifaux, clip-clopping around, and then being interrupted and just erupting and having LCB burst forth to aid him. You never cease to amaze!
  16. Awesome work on Pandora and the tots! Can't believe you got the eyes to look like they're actually glowing so well! Can't wait for more ^^
  17. As ever, yours is some of the absolute best work I've ever seen! The colour scheme works so well too! Made me straight away think of grass/leaves and blood. Really outstanding execution, and such an amaizing overall idea! Can't wait to see more
  18. I was the aforementioned opponent! Wee, what japes! Don't say it like that! Hans may not have been the best choice against spirits (no doubt one of the worst in fact!) but he had his uses
