Malkavians, Malkavians forever! Personally, I think a time-traveller (think Jules Verne) would be a cool addition to the outcasts. He could have some REALLY cool minion options.

I like this tactic, and I think I'll have to use it more as I get more non-Showgirl models. It's a lot like Pine Boxing your Executioner, which I have seen used to excellent effect.

Personally, I think ruminating on the competitiveness of a crew is currently a little pointless, until we've had a good length of time where everyone can play with the new book. I have the feeling that, as with the release of any expansion or the like, the balance between crews is going to shift somewhat. All that said, I personally prefer Colette not because of competitiveness, but because she fits my play style rather well. This is also the reason I prefer Eldar in 40k. Movement and trickery, movement and trickery everywhere!

I'm going to be going with Lady J and Seamus, myself. Pretty iconic match, there.

Wow, I just played a proxied Sonnia crew the other day and WOW. Yeah, I have to agree with you guys. I was playing against Lilith and my opponent's Mature was getting dangerously close to Sonnia. And then Sammael shot him up with a single activation. Wow. Just, wow. A Mature blown away just like that. Felt pretty awesome.

Great, now I really can't wait to get book 3. I've just GOTTA know what's up with this story!

Speaking of Games and Stuff, how often do they do Malifaux events (if at all)? I'm going to be closer to there soon, when I go back to school.

Keep in mind, you're also getting a Mannequin for those points. They can be surprisingly useful at times.

Well, there may actually be some potential for her in a Pandora crew, because of all the Wp duels she causes. But I haven't tested that, myself.

Hmmm, that's going to be tough. Without showgirls on the field, Colette loses a lot of her utility. Are you planning on using her as a dove/soulstone factory?

She's hiding, waiting to show up when you least expect it. Little known fact: The Star is also a ninja training facility.

This is also another wonderful thing they do, allowing Colette much more tactical flexibility with Illusionist and other such abilities.

Can't speak for getting Colette, but Lady J is stupidly hard to find in the USA

They can only use soulstones to bolster the casting flip of the spell.

Not gonna lie, that was really pretty excellent. I'm actually left wanting to see more of this character, but, well. Somehow I doubt that will be happening. XD

So, I was thinking up possibilites for a Pandora list, and something occurred to me: Would it be a good idea to take a Performer and Mannequin with Pandora? Admittedly, that's an 8ss cost you're looking at there (Performers cost 2 extra as mercenaries instead of 1) but I think it might be worth the price with Pandora. The Performer itself causes a lot of wp duels: :rangedTargeting a Performer with an attack requires a Wp->12 duel, which cannot be ignored by any talent. :rangedA Performer's melee weapon can use either Cb or Wp when attacking. :rangedThe Performer's (0) action has a model within 6" make a Wp->Wp duel. :rangedThe spell Seduction is a Wp duel, with a trigger to allow a free melee or ranged strike at the target (keep in mind that that melee weapon can be used with Wp instead of Cb). :rangedThe spell Siren Call is also a Wp duel and makes the target move their Wk towards the performer (which could drag them into the range of Pandora's Emotional Trauma). :rangedThe spell Expensive Gift is also a Wp duel, which essentially steals a soulstone from your opponent and gives it to you. The other model you get out of these 8ss is the Mannequin, which aside from having the option of giving Performers lots of buffs (And being surprisingly resilient), also has the spell Beautiful Clothes, which is another Wp duel. Oh, and the Mannequins also have Harmless, so there's a couple more Wp duels. So, what are your thoughts? Is it possibly worth the investment?

Ah, darn. Well, it's still a very potent combo.
