Such a tough choice!

Well, Gen Con has come and gone. The Wyrd machine is running full tilt to fulfill orders and people are mostly focussed on getting their orders and talking about the new book. But I am already looking forward to the Wave 2 Beta! I am really interested to see what is done with Lucas, Lucius, and most of all, Hoffman. I am really hoping to see avatars in play as well. Nothing would make me happier than to get back to playing Hoffman with his avatar! I've never had Perdita's avatar on the table either, so I would like to see some fun stuff there. Word on the street was they hoped to release the beta cards in September. I am hoping that time frame is still in place.

I didn't see any. But admittedly I wasn't there for every event.

Is that flame wall marker correct? From that photo they don't appear to be touching and they seem smaller than 50mm.

What I did to address the small parts issue was to buy a couple of 9x12 cake pans from the dollar store. I always cut and assemble on a workbench over the pans, just in case I drop something. Presumably the pan will catch it before the carpet eats it.

I believe I mentioned something to Casey, but I should have gone through you. I will also be working the events hall Thursday evening, so you'll have me for one shift.

I'll be there all four days. Thursday at the booth.

I also airbrush on vallejo primers. But before i bought the airbrush, I brushed on vallejo primer and it works very well. Takes a little longer than spraying, but if you can't get good results any other way it's worth a try. I also second duplicolor sandable primer. Always had good results with it.

You make some really good points that made me sit back and think. Perhaps The Nothing Beast is extra ginormous. Won't know until we see it I guess.

Are the cards like the original fate decks or like the retro decks? I am dying to know what they are made from.

The rules themselves do say "7 05 2013" on the front page. All the stat cards I reviewed say 6/13/13.

Since these are the first M2E cards released to the public, does anyone who has seen them have a review? Are they cardboard or plastic?

This. Henchman are a great resource. Its at least worth checking to see if there is one in your area. If so, I am sure they would be willing to meet with you and give personalized tutorials, answer any questions, and give suggestions. A list of Henchmen can be found HERE.

They generally delay Wyrd Online releases to give FLGS first crack at selling them. Wouldn't expect them at the Wyrd store for a number of weeks.
