  1. I can't brain... I has the dumb. LISTEN NOT THE THE MAN WHO'S NAME IS TOTHRIC! FOR HE BABBLES AND IS FULL OF SILLY AND CANDY!
  2. Oops, TOTAL miss read, I have to apologize. Direct quote for folks who don't have the Upgrade card: "(0) Eternal Journey: Place this model anywhere within its Deployment Zone, not in terrain. This Action may only be taken if this model is the first friendly model to Activate during the Turn." As long as the model is the FIRST model to activate in the turn, note that it does not say first friendly, so it must have been the absolute first model to activate during the turn, I'd think it could be used during the reactivate action. Sorry for the miss read.
  3. That means, she cannot act twice, and give herself reactivate again. Words as written on the ability: "(0) Eternal Moment: This action can only be taken if this was the first friendly model to Activate This turn. This model gains the following Condition until the end of the turn: "Eternal: Once all other friendly models have Activated, this model gains the Reactivate Condition." To Quote the book, specifically. She does get the ability to use this ability again, however, she fails to gain the Reactivate Condition because a model can only benefit from Reactivate once per turn. As further stated on Page 52 of the manual, no condition lasts longer then the end of a given turn unless specified otherwise. So the Reactivate condition wouldn't even carry over to the next turn. Given this information (Edited due to word usage error), I'm not sure what your trying to accomplish using the same ability twice in the same turn.
  4. As a person who's spent quite a while studying game design, Some advice I could give you is to build some CORE Values, and CORE principles you want your game to function on, and make sure everything follows those cores in a sensible and reasonable fashion. When your confused about what kind of decision you should make go back to the Core Values and the Core Principles that you started with. Those will guide you through out a lot of decisions. Extra Note: It looks like you have SOME core values, Customization, Balance, Scale-ability. Keep those in mind, but also question them. Make sure they are REALLY what you want to focus on, or is there some other more interesting feature you want to bring to the forefront. Tread-Carefully good luck!
  5. Have to say, you get the idea of 'Story encounter' in my humble opinion. That pun was intended. I have to ask though, were the Story encounters randomly flipped or did you guys decide ahead of time what story encounters would occur and who would participate? I know you said the characters were sort of pre-determined and the battle itself determined the direction the story went, but I'm curious just how much is pre-meditated.
  6. Thank you for the tips, I'll see what I can do.
  7. Hello fellow Peoples. Just show casing my latest paintings. This is my DR. WILY version of Leveticus. His Robot master (The Desolation Engine) and his best creation Proto-Woman (Played by Rusty Alice) will be following shortly. Just thought I'd show some folks and see what people thought.
  8. I've got a resolution question, I'm pretty sure I know how it resolves, but I wanted to see what other people think about it. Rasputina has a trigger along with many other models in Rasputina's crew that end's a models activation immediately after taking damage. There are SEVERAL other Models (Killjoy, Silurids, and a few others) have triggers that cuase ANOTHER attack after dealing damage. Per general resolution rules it looks like the extra attack hits, the activation ends. The acting model's trigger activates first. Then the other immediate action activates. Am I reading this right?
  9. While True, Most of your Silurids or Other Models are better off a little farther away from Bad Juju. Bad Juju (in my experaince) is the target of alot of attacks, and sometimes your opponent will be harnessing a LARGE portion of your force to deal with him. That's my experience though, Not sure about you guys. Any of you guys experiencing the same?
  10. Thanks Kaled, that's pretty awesome. I think a really neat mini. Andy, that's a fairly good point, but right now: we are currently going with a Swirling semi-luminous paint and swirls of purple, black, and deeper purple... mixing it together like a void of the night sky. We hope it turns out pretty good.
  11. That'd be fun Jonas. Anywho: I'm not entirely sure how to contact anyone else without going through here. Sarah and I are looking to do a match on Thursday at Griffies. Preferably a match for us both. Any takers?
  12. I found Fear Given Form works really well with Bad-Juju. It gives the foe a DF 14 duel or taking 3 damage for activating in Bad-Juju's 2 inch range. It worked REALLY REALLY well for me in a Recoinnter match. It devastated some bells and a Cybele. Any Models that don't have Armor are pretty much devastated by it.
  13. laugh a bit, smiling with grit. Bound by chains, colored red stains, I laugh a bit, smiling with Grit. Sins you say I will pay for, Cackling you see. Hunger, is that how I'll pay? Flesh unending, You say it will be rending. Hunger, is that how I'll pay? Pangs of loss, I'll feel in skin so deep. That is what you say? Unrest in never death! You ask how did I do it? Unrest in never Death! Bound forever in these chains of red, You found me and said, With each sin, a hunger dark and deep will swell. Unending torment will be mine. I ask you this, oh judge and jury, to why would a man such as I may bend and break every moral fiber if not for seeking some eternal being? This reward I never asked, you so humbly apply. I cackle, I laugh a bit, smiling with grit. Hunger, is that How I'll pay? A curse you lay upon my unending unrepentant soul I keep, Cherish and you will weep, for this hunger you unleashed I'll lash from you and your's the bones of meals I will keep. For unending hunger is my chains of red, Bound forever, and you will dread, this gift you give, for my errant ways I'll be bound to keep unable to rest.
  14. Fun Fact: Sarah just HOsed me... Hard... So very very hard... Using just Belles, and Cybil... No Master. She destroyed all but 2 models. Belles = hurt train coming to Pain town.
  15. As far as I understand, In Malifaux 2E, all forced movement IS in straight lines. I'll quote Page 43 of the rules manual here: "Some game effects require a model to be pushed in relation to another object, such as towards or away from another model. When this happens the Model must move in a straight line while obeying these restrictions, moving directly towards (Or away from) the specified Object. The pushed Model cannot pass through impassable objects (Such as other models, or walls) or climb. IF a pushed model comes into contact with an object that is impassible the pushed model stops in base Contact with the object." Nothing stats that the push can't be performed, JUST that it stops at the model. And in base contact, the Model doesn't move, because it can't move any closer. Since *edit* Lure is forced movement, it would follow these rules, I believe. The discussion should be is does this count as "Ended" movement for the Belle's Pounce, or not. The Model couldn't start moving to being with.
