PubFaux 2014 is a two day event and will consist of 7 games over the weekend of the 26th-27th of April. The event is fixed faction and games are going to be 50ss with a pool of 100ss. The tournament will be a ranked event. We will also be holding a contest for best painted crew. The event will be held at The Station Bar, found here: The Station Bar, 12 Chertsey Road, Woking, GU21 5AB There are numerous hotels within close walking distance of the venue which itself is no more than 100 yards from Woking Train Station. There are an abundance of fast food places and restaurants on the same road as the pub and the pub itself does quite an excellent menu. On the Saturday evening we are planning a meal out, but haven't decided where as yet so any preferences, shout 'em out! There are 30 tournament places available. Tickets for the weekend are £20 and anyone that’s interested in coming, send your payments via Paypal to carter.rory0@gmail.com Model pool should be up to 100 stones worth of models that may be hired by the players declared faction and by any masters that may hire models from outside the declared faction. Masters are not payed for out of the pool and any number of masters from the declared faction may be included. There is no limit to the number of mercenary models that may be included in the pool for the cost printed on their card, but any additional costs and restrictions for hiring still apply. Upgrades do not need to be included in the pool. The strategies and the scheme pool for each round will be announced on the first day of the event. Painting is encouraged, but not mandatory for this event, however any player that does not have at least 50ss of painted models will be ineligible for any of the spot prizes being given away each round. Any proxies must be pre-approved before use. Any proxy models you want to use at the event, email me a picture of the models and what you intend to use them as to Carter.rory0@gmail.com. Do I have to submit a 100ss list based around 1 faction, including just 1 master and then choose the 50ss worth for each game? Are upgrades included within the 100ss limit or is it just the models?
