As the wording of Moonlighting requires McM to die before it activates, I'd say no. All of a models abilities stop working when it dies, so he's either alive for the ability to be active or dead to fulfill the requirements of the ability, he can't be both. -

Ok, so owing to a sudden change in work plans, I can no longer attend. Now seeing as this is in part a charity event, I dont want to take any money away, so I'm happy for my ticket to go to someone else for free (although if you feel like kicking some money the Toy Library's way, that would be really cool of you )

Sounds like a lot of fun, even if I didn't qualify, I'd still be up for hanging out and playing board games.
