'Active and good standing' does seem to be covered by the no disqualification and 4 event rule. However it allows for a judgement to be made that has been 'written' into the rules for players who may show a poor/abusive attitude outside of events that may cause distress for others. I assume this is the reasoning for this extra? (note im not saying this exsists)

I think this sounds like a grand idea! Tbh I would almost certainly attend something like this (the smogcon event we tacked onto was ace) Also a 100% Faith you would pull this off flawlessly! Totally get your point on letting another person step up,(Like you said some great people stepping up and running events) and would agree if you was just running a straight up event, however this is a little more, a further development and would personally like to see you continue on the flag ship!

I would add one thing to mythicFOX's pro to not allowing wave 4 (some people like myself) are waiting for to buy the book at my lgs as I want to support my store (something I believe wyrd also actively supports) and feel blanket disallowing wave 4 until BOOK release (after then evrything is fair game imo) helps that to some extent. But again I see the other side of allowing people to play with shinies. TO discretion at the end of the day is probably the best answer here and hopefully a good mix of both options is abundant!
