Sevorin
Just thought I'd let people know I tested marking the cards without sleeves. It works. I even forgot to erase one and put it away, pulled it out 2 days later and was still able to erase it.
Kalkris
Any word on wet-erase? I like that dry-erase works all the same ~Lil Kalki
Sevorin
No idea about wet.
Fetid Strumpet
It works fine it's true. I still sleeve though because I find that Dry erase still leaves minuscule traces after erasure and it can build up over time. I definitely love though that the cards work like that right out of the box though.
worstgamer
So are they printed on the plastic type stuff the retro deck is printed on?
Fetid Strumpet
No, they are card, but they have a protective gloss coating over them.
Zomnambulist
So are they printed on the plastic type stuff the retro deck is printed on? They feel a little slicker than the retro deck/puppet deck cards, almost like they're waxed.
Mister Shine
I am still going to use counters cause I have a nagging feeling that gloss coat will wear off eventually

Fenton Crack
I will be sleeving mine as well. My only sadness is how nice they feel unsleeved, as the tactility of the finish is great. The smart profile of the rounded corners is also diminished by the pointy sleeves. Hmm. I guess that comes off like I'm some kind of fetishist or something, rubbing the cards against myself in the dark like a deviant. Oh well, you guys know what I mean. It's well documented that all Malifaux players are deviants like you.

Malicte
I'm probably gonna stick with counters for mine. That said, between all of my arsenal decks I ended up with a lot of extra and unused stat cards. I may wet erase test one later out of morbid curiosity.
