DavidKerrSmith
Date: 23rd & 24th November 2013 Location: Common Ground Games 40 Cowane streetFK8 1JR Stirling FK8 1JR http://www.commongroundgames.co.uk/ Format: 2nd Edition Malifaux. Individual events still TBC. CG games can handle 80 players maximum. I would like to think that we could get at least 40 players to attend. Price: expected £25-30 for the weekend. Individual day tickets may be available for local players who can't make both days. In discussion for lunch being part of the ticket costs. B&B/Hotels available near to the location 5 minutes walk from the Railway Staton On Street car parking at location. So, this thread is to raise awareness of the event and allow attendees to get their calendars sorted out for November. I am aware that V2 is not yet set and we are unaware of how this will impact the Organised Play format but I would like people to chip in with ideas and help shape the event to generate maximum interest. ThePandaDirector
I'd be interested, I suppose. We'll just have to see how things turn out in September =] I also have at least two players from my local club that might also be interested. Chucklemonkey
You know i'm interested, as is he who does not do forums or facebook. Have posted a link to this thread on the Stirling Wargamers thread also.

mythicFOX
I'd be interested, assuming I survive the trip north this weekend.
Cunning
I'm hoping to attend. Good excuse to visit friends in the area.
Davi
For those wanting to travel up and stay there is a premier inn 4 miles away and it is £29 a night for a room, that is per room not per person so bring a friend and it'll be £29 each to stay the weekend. There is a premier inn opening soon closer to the venue but it is not taking bookings just now.

mythicFOX
Having spent a fun day with the Scottish Malifaux regulars I'm going to try and make a point of attending this one. @ Joel - we should have a chat about car pooling for this one. DavidKerrSmith
Update: 1) We have two potential weekends 16th &17th November or 23rd & 24th November. 2) Due to the unpredictable Scottish weather, I am inclined to book for the 16th &17th November. How does each weekend work for attendees. Common Ground Games have confirmed that if the event is snowed off e.g. 3ft of snow, then there is no penalty and the event can be rescheduled for early 2014. 3) Lunch will not be included in the price, due to the considerable volume of food providers in the close vicinity to the event. 4) My inclination is towards a 6 or 7 round event, over the two days. Is this of interest to players. 5) There is a Premier Inn opening soon in Stirling. I will see about getting a deal for attendees.
fishtank
I'd love to come but it isn't possible this year. Shame...Stirling uni alum and lived just around the corner from CG.
DangerousBeans
Should be up for this on either weekend, barring incident.
OldManMyke
I'd prefer earlier purely as a selfish reason - Sagamath is on the 30th and gaming 2 weekends in a row is generally frowned upon
bobzilla
Barring anything to do with college or NUS Scotland getting in the way I'll take whatever date is going. Won't know what's happening for a few months though. Are you still thinking of working single day players into it? Even if I can't make it along as a player I'll no doubt drop by at some point anyway.
