Duck21
Here’s my first attempt at painting new plastic malifaux miniatures. Vanessa Treasure Hunter. So what do I think of the new plastic ? It feels different. I don’t know if this is a good example, but imagine playing a driving video game. And you unlocked a new car which is faster but has more sensitive handling. And this is how new plastics made me feel. In other words it has potential but will take some adjusting to. Overall I think I achieved a good result on Vanessa in the end.
Viruk
I had similar feelings when I was painting my first Malifaux plastics. I love the grainy, realistic look of texture on her clothes
Linus Mcmold
Beautiful painting all over this thread. I love how natural your Vanessa looks like. I'm very satisfied with the model since it's the first version of her I've seen painted.
Jormi_Boced
I like the effect on the weapon.
Evilbleachman
Superhumans. So now we have a second Mako. O_O I keep forgetting how professional you are. <3 I'd love a guide/turtorial on how you did the light sourcing stuff with the weapon's funk. Mako
I think I saw the crew at salute briefly. Duck's not a second me, he has a serious awesomeness all his own!
Evilbleachman
The two of you came out of the same womb of awesomeness. Hmm. Make that two equal wombs of awesomeness.
Thulis
Awesome Vanessa! Mine just has the base colors done... I love the weapon effect too. Definitely something I am glad I see now, so I can see roughly how it was done.

Duck21
Here’s Mei Feng. Still have no idea what these wooden planks are supposed to be, but who cares it’s a great sculpt. Even if it was really awkward to assemble.

KevinJohnWaite
Your work is amazing, being a big show girls fan I especially love your work on Colette! The Bases are amazing too!
LordDarcy
These figures are incredibly well painted. I like your style, colour choices and the custom bases. I may have to revisit some of my completed miniatures and add some additional highlighting after seeing your work on the same figures. Duck21
Me and Doctor Loxley made a new pod cast. Hobby Sofa. It’s mostly About Malifaux, but will have some general Hobby topics like painting advise. Anyway here’s Episode - 1 You’ll have to excuse my accent. http://newfairbank.podbean.com/2013/07/05/hobby-sofa-episode-01/ It would probably be a good idea to make this a new topic. But I’m not entirely sure in which section would you post new pod casts. Any ideas. Edited July 6, 2013 by Duck21
