  1. Thank you Big Ned. I'd love to see someone else's take on them, especially with a more realistic color set. I think a mottled/grayish skin tone (i.e. zombie) would make them look a bit more terrifying. They have a stylized look at the moment that might not be all that scary.
  2. Hello all, September 28th at Hobbies, Crafts & Games in Soldotna, Alaska we're having a demo and open play using the new University of Transmortis story encounter set. Everyone is welcome even if you don't have a crew there are several that can be loaned out. Times are from 12:00pm to 4:00pm but will most likely run longer. Stop in any time! Hobbies Crafts & Games is located at 36254 Kenai Spur Hwy Soldotna, AK 99669, (907) 262-4263. Bring your crew and have fun! Questions can be sent to ALASKAMALIFAUX@GMAIL.COM I hope to see you there!
  3. Thanks for the kind words everyone. I appreciate it!
  4. Thanks everyone. I wanted to post them because before I started painting I didn't see a lot of examples out there. Nice to hear positive feedback. I agree the colors are bright. I didn't really do any highlights because I just wanted to knock them out quickly. I just got my Gen Con order in and I'm trying to read through the new rulebook
  5. Very nice. I like the Witchling Stalkers. I like the small details on everything, especially the danger markings on the Specialist's weapon.
  6. Hey all, please be kind. I'm an ok painter and this isn't my finest work. I painted these quickly to use in a game I'm going to run at my FLGS. I'm a new Henchman and wanted to try something new for our small group of players. I wanted to experiment with taking photos and quickly put the background print in there, knowing that it's not to scale. I figured it's better than nothing though. Feedback is welcome. I should ad that the color scheme isn't in my normal style. I was trying to emulate the artwork that the figures were done in the box set. I liked it and thought trying something I don't usually do would be a nice change of pace.
  7. On Saturday August 24th I'll be running Malifaux 2.0 demos from 12pm-4pm (or longer if necessary) at Hobbies, Crafts & Games in Soldotna, Alaska. If you haven't been there Hobbies, Crafts & Games is located at: Hobbies, Crafts & Games 36254 Kenai Spur Hwy Soldotna, AK 99669 (907) 262-4263 There's a game room in the back and the store sells some snacks, sodas & water if you get hungry/thirsty. I have three crews (Seamus, Lady Justice, Nicodem) available if you don't have one of your own, so you don't have to bring anything. Feel free to bring your crew if you have one (painted or not). You don't have to set an appointment ahead of time, but if I am busy running another demo you might have a to wait a bit so feel free to PM me if you want to set a certain time aside. Hopefully we can complete the demo in an hour or so, but if things are slow a second game is no problem. See you then!
  8. Awesome news. I hope there's enough to go around. I'd like to get two if possible.
  9. Shadowpal it's nice to see another with the same obsession as me. This deck does look great and even though I kept throwing my wallet at the screen nothing has happened yet. Hopefully some more voices will help convince Legion113 to share his creation with us Legion113 I play Resurrectionists as well as Guild (and Gremlins) and can't wait to see what you guys come up with for that. I hope you'll share the creation process on those too.
  10. You could probably PM Eric with the forum link to ask permission, but that's up to you of course. I bet you'd get a fair bit of people interested with a little more time. (Hint, hint). *wink*
  11. I understand. There is another user doing up a Gremlins deck and he apparently got permission from Eric to do a limited release so I thought I would ask. I love custom decks so any time I see one I always ask if any are available. If for some reason they do please let me know, I'd love to get one. If you don't mind me asking what is the cost per custom deck (for you to make them) and what company are you using to print them? It's something I might do just for kicks.
  12. Thanks for the tip. Good luck with your project!
  13. I love the design. I play Guild too. Is this something you're going to be making just for yourself, or extras to share with those of us who are artistically impaired? I'd love to buy one or two.
  14. I love it. Please put me down for wanting to grab at least one, if not a few of them. I'm just starting Gremlins so it would be awesome to have this.
