Mach_5
Started painting this crew up when I first got into Malifaux a few years back. I finished the (Snow) Storm for the Iron Painter contest and more recently the Silent One as well as finally getting to the bases for the whole crew. Iamwyrd
That is an beautiful crew. Makes me want to paint my rasputina. (God dang it) But I really love the bases as well, very fitting. And the cute little kitties of DOOM!!!!!
Omenbringer
Striking models, especially the Snow Storm.
Rameses
Very nice looking painting! It was the Rasp'y Alt and Snow/Storm that made me want to play Malifaux but funny enuff I have no interest in purchasing her crew yet! lol Well done! I am, Rameses! dgraz
The close ups are a little over-exposed and out of focus...........from the first pic....the more distant one, they look really awesome...and they look fantastic together.
DeadRaven
The Golem and (Snow) Storm looks awesome!
Viruk
The whole crew looks fantastic. Great, coherent look and excellent paintjob on all o the models. The Snowstorm is my favorite here, really outstanding work. My only criticism would be that Rasputina's eyes don't look very good and you might try repainting them. Other than that it's a great looking crew.
Mach_5
Recently finished a few more models: Avatar of Famine Mechanical Rider Molemen Rasputina's crew on a display base for the Malifood tournament this past weekend. For the ice pillars I stole harbinger's idea of using pencils that are removable from the base (the center pencil slots into a hole in the base). Thanks harbinger! Omenbringer
Very nice though, this set of pictures is a bit out of focus compared to the earlier ones. Especially like the Mechanical Rider and display board.

benhur
Hi nice work! is it the same painter for all minis? the snowstorm looks awesome and it seams painted by a better painter than the rest. All of them looks great but the color blending in the Snow storm is just perfect! congrats
iamthefly
Very nice, I like the winter Molemen. What are you using for snow effect? I bought snow flock, but it just looked like white grass.
JMGraham
Marvelous, marvelous, marvelous!
Mach_5
@benhur: it was all me Some of these were painted well over a year ago while others are more recent. Snow storm was an entry for the iron painter competition and I really tried to push my painting techniques/blending to their limits, I'm glad the effort shows! @iamthefly: I used Woodland Scenics snow flock mixed with weldbond (really good white glue) and water. After placing the mixture on the bases I dipped the bases back in the snow flock to get a good layer of flock on top. After it dried I did a light drybrush of white to highlight it a bit more. geistwald
Your gamin and especially your ice golem show a nice attempt of mastering colors and the rules of lighting. Much harder to do than washing and blending and all the fancy stuff, because you have to think, not just let the paints mix and flow. Very well done !! Bayou Guildman
Wow, just wow... Pencils to make crystals... Now I know how to make all those Necron crytals I've been planning. The crew looks amazing on the board. Did you get any award for painting? Should have at least placed IMO.

Mach_5
A few WIP shots of the Coryphee of December and a Frozen-hearted Metal Gamin.
Mach_5
I started painting the metal gamin all-blue, but realized he'd look too much like an ice gamin, so I'll be painting both of those hands/arms in shiny metal. Face mask will likely be a steel/bronze combo of some kind.
