Viruk
They already look very nice, even with just this little bit of color. And a nice Teddy too
Demonn Agram
teddy looks familiar, right?
Demonn Agram
well, got another batch of MDF lasercut buildings. This time from Sarissa-Precision. Western store: (it still needs bits to be glued (like window sills, sign on the front as well as those planks where cowboys tie their horses). I'll be gluing them after I paint the building)... next, three Mexican buildings (for Ortegas to fight on ) (the last pic is one building but I'm doing two out of it. saving money LOL) all three together:
Viruk
Those look very nice even without painting.
Linus Mcmold
I bow my head down to your Gremlin Shack. It captures Malifaux in its full glory. Perdita/outhouse/hanging tree looks great as well. I'm sorry I got into this game so late on and your terrains give me newfound interest in the game. Those two look a bit like they are in a nighttime enviroment. Your terrains look like real creatures had life in them (or crap, in some cases ). You sir are an artist, not just a designer. I think I'll be buying some BlackWaterGulch buildings when I start building desert/railways/"Once Upon Time in The West" styled terrain later this year after I finish my college duties. I'm sorry I didn't do more terrains in my life, this looks like real fun. I remember cutting all those pancakes for Warhammer 40K all those years ago. That was a dull work (even if I did throw in some stupid details, those haven't made any difference). Edited December 25, 2012 by Linus Mcmold bad spelling
Demonn Agram
ok, back to doing some terrain. Hanging tree terrain that I started a while back.. so, the tree finally got it's turn and this is the progress so far: the closeups of the tree itself: and the closeup of the thunderroom:
Viruk
Green wash, right? Great idea anyway as it adds an eerie feel to the tree.
Demonn Agram
green wash and green shade thanks
Omenbringer
Now that is an amazing Hanging Tree, love the accent pieces and the creepy green glow.
Demonn Agram
thanks and now it's done - my next terrain for my board... (and also an entry for the Wyrd 2013 Wamp Competition)
i_was_like_you
The tree looks amazing! Just a question, though: Is the chain pulling double duty of hiding the seam?
Demonn Agram
haha, how did you guess? also, there is a bit of real tree branch on the top (inside the hole which also had a huge gap due to the fact that the two sides did not align perfectly and I'm a lazy git *grin*)?
Viruk
You have a knack for creating terrain pieces that are really well arranged as they're full of details but still look coherent and well planned. And the painting is top notch as always too.
Gujozec
Great piece of terrain!

Demonn Agram
Also: Sebastian Ht 2 and any other Ht 2 model. haha just had the same discussion over on Wamp and this pic came up (I think it's Koyote's...) so yeah, you are right
Evilbleachman
I remember that pic. He had it in his thread somewhere. Haha. Haven't seen him post anything in a long time.
i_was_like_you
haha, how did you guess? also, there is a bit of real tree branch on the top (inside the hole which also had a huge gap due to the fact that the two sides did not align perfectly and I'm a lazy git *grin*)? If I can't seal my gap any better, I may need to borrow your chain idea.
daemonkin
I thought Rail Golem is Ht4 D.

Demonn Agram
hope it arrived by now it's been far too long withou me posting here. but that's due to the new gig I got. Shane Rozzell from Figure Painter Magazine asked me to build a modular board for the game of Malifaux and write a series of articles about it. the first issue is out since wednesday, if you care to check it out: http://www.figurepaintermagazine.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=33 there is other cool stuff in there like an interview with 2012 Slayer Sword winner Karol Rudyk (yup, the guy who sold the Slayer Sword - you can find out why *grin*) anyway, here's a bit of a teaser for the board: so, the idea is to make it a two storey board. the bottom (on the blueprints above) will be the underground with crypts, sewers, basements etc (typical dungeon type) and the upper storey will have streets and what not (not really got to that part yet). what I can reveal is that it'll have sh!tload of electricity inside and the modules will be completely interchangable with each other as well as with just rotating (of course you can do both)... Evilbleachman
Pretty nifty. I am also glad you will be donating me this awesome board once it is finished. <3 Karol is actually coming to my LGS this summer for painting tutorials. I am too cheap to spend the 100€ on lessons to paint, but it is stil pretty neat!
Demonn Agram
donating you? well, we might be donating it to a lucky winner at the end of the build... about Karol, I'm sure you can squeeze in a cupboard in the back of the LGS and eavesdrop a bit *grin*
