CKKris
Hey everyone! We just opened a little over a week and a half ago and our miniatures community is relatively small so I would like to invite all of you to come in and game. With that being said, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kris, I've been playing with just about every type of miniatures that I can get my hands on. I've played Warhammer (both 40k and Fantasy), Warmachine/Hordes, Monsterpocalypse and Lord of the Rings/War of the Rings, along with all of the old specialist games that Games Workshop sells (Blood Bowl, BFG, Necromunda, etc.) I've had a bunch of my gaming friends start playing Malifaux and I am the last person to jump on-board. I love the models that Wyrd offers and can't wait to start learning how to play. If I get a decent sized community in the store that play Malifaux, I'm going to try to look in on a game or two to figure out how it's played and learn the basics for when I start building my crew. We have four 6'x4' boards in the store with a decent handful of terrain to used, so you are more than welcome to come in, play a game (for free, obviously) and then if you're hungry, you can go to the in-store cafe and have a food, beverage (Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and hang out. Our store is located in Ballard at 5105 Leary Ave NW, Seattle WA 98107. I look forward to seeing you guys in the store playing some games! If you see a tall, bald guy with glasses, that's me. Say hi! Ciaran
Welcome to the Wyrdness! If I was closer I'd be there to help you grow a community. I think you'll enjoy it, most people do. You may want to contact the local Henchmen there. I'm sure they'd like another venue to show off the game.

I would love to have them come into the shop and I'm pretty sure they'd find it nice and comfy and fun.
CrimsonWraith
Welcome! Both as a new store and a new player. Check out the PDF download on the front page to get an eye on the rules. Simple to learn, difficult to master. I wish I was close also, I have to walk to get my food *sigh*

JMGraham would be the guy you would wanna try to talk to, granted I don't know how far Bellingham and Seattle are from each other. Regardless Welcome to the forums! That would be awesome. I'll have to send him a PM. Btw, I really hope that as henchmen, they come in dressed like The Monarch's henchmen... MadArcanist
That would be rather awesome, alas all we have is a t-shirt to work with. Maybe if you can convince someone to do it they might be willing to do something close to that
EricJ
great to hear about Malifaux growing in your area, and hopefully it just takes over your new store Glad to have you on the forums as well, let us know how you enjoy learning the game, and how it goes in your store! Rage
Kris, I'll have JMGraham send you a PM. I also believe "fortythree" on these boards is now located in Seattle. He was another Henchman up here in Seattle and had to relocate due to his job. Alternatively, I plan on applying to the Henchman program soon and travel down the I-5 corridor often, so I might be able to help a bit as well. Depending on job opportunities, I may be moving down to Seattle fairly soon.

The shop is in Ballard and the entire Ballard/Greenwood Ave. area is really nice.
