U.S. Male
Ok, I finished up my first batch of guys and really tried something different. Instead of the bright toy soldier look I was going for a dirty dark look, and also I tried using more detailed bases. I'm pretty happy with it. I'm also glad I decided to go with the yellow for the gremlin skin rather than green. I like how it makes them feel dirty but natural. Also they look like the yellow bastard from Sin City now. Rathnard
Wow, I love the colour scheme! It kind of makes them all look like civil war confederate soldiers (or something - my American History is distinctly lacking, for obvious reasons Also, there's something really really appealing about how So'mer Teeth Jones has no nose. U.S. Male
Thanks for the comments. I'm glad to hear that some of my color choices had the desired effect. I wanted to evoke that confederate soldier feel with the grey, but I wanted to avoid the confederate flag. So I'm glad somebody saw what I was going for. And the yellow skin just felt right. A great different feel, I'm glad it was well received.

U.S. Male
I thought I should update my thread since I finished some piggies. Plus, I picked up an inexpensive light studio and I really liked how it helped my photos.
goblyn13
I like your pigs and those Gremlins are sweet. the one suggestion I'd make is that the light your using appears to be causing a Red Shift, might want to do a little color adjustment, like this: Edited April 12, 2010 by goblyn13
Melnibonean
Skin tone looks great. As mentioned above by DeafNala... Moving away from the greenskin gives them a nice fresh (and unique) look. You may have started a Gremlin Skin revolution!!!
