4 Scoffer
This ability doesn't say "completely within", that's why even smallest part of Stalker's base is enough.
0 SerZaka
Probably. In Plant Explosives a bomb on the centerline counts as being in both table halves (so also in the enemy table half). I know that this isn't the best example (we are not talking about models here) nor it gives a actual answer to your question but it is something
0 Trekin
I've made the same argument. Also cases like flight explicitly say 'completely within'. If Invader was meant to be completely on their half I think it would have said it.
0 goth
Does this mean the Grootslang lair markers can be on opponent’s table half?

As long as they meet the requirement to be on the friendly table half, then yes they can.
0 goth
Aren’t they measured from the middle of the terrain marker so the middle has to be on friendly half?

Nope. Nothing in the game is measured from the middle of a marker, and the table halves aren’t markers. What it comes down to is that there isn’t a presumption that “within” means “entirely within”. In cases such as deployment, the rules will (eventually, possibly with a bit of cross referencing) say things like “completely within” if that’s intended.

Weeelll, Turf War markers are measured from the middle 😉

They don't actually have any measuring that I can see, other than the initial drop, and that is drop the marker in the middle of the quarter/table. It even clarifies that the center marker is in each quarter.

Yea, and since table quarters are 18" by 18", when you place the Marker during setup you measure 9" from the edges and put the Center of the Turf war marker there. I was just being difficult 😛
