cbtb11235813
After running demos of TOS at Adepticon this past weekend, I'm even more excited for this game to come out. Since the cards are all online, my local Henchman and I are planning on playing some games with proxies to scratch the itch (and maybe help determine some final add ons). Anyone else done something similar? Any fun ideas for proxies? We have access to 3D printing, so we are thinking about making labeled fireteam bases and using markers in place of the models
SAYNE
have you found a good fireteam base .stl file? If so, could you link it?
cbtb11235813
We did not even decide to do this until the ride home late last night, so no, not yet. If I can get ahold of/make one, I will certainly do that!
rancor709
the lids for McDonald's medium drink is an 80mm and the lid for their large is 100mm. Compact disks, Cds kids ask your parents are 120mm. we use 40k and warmachine minis for proxy. we have also just used dice or tokens in the lids.
Rathnard
I got a friend with an industrial laser to make some fireteam bases for me. Basically two MDF bases on top of each other (both 80/100/120mm diameter), with holes for the 30/40/50mm bases cut into one of them. I've modeled and painted a few, and they look pretty nice with some Malifaux minis on top of them.
cbtb11235813
That seems like a good way to do it. If we had a laser cutter that would probably be the way to go. Likely to 3D print, since we have easy access to that

Rathnard
Here we are. The bottom base is black on one side, pink on the other. So I can flip it over according to how badly the pink damages my opponent's retinas. 3
Kadeton
Cameras are sadly unable to capture just how eye-searingly pink those bases are in reality. 2
