TeddyBear
Hi guys, i starts like this game more and more, so i did a new supply of pieces and crews I would like to ask you, a good list idea for Jacob Lynch (50 ss - Neverborn) I think that he's better like Neverborn then Ten Thunder or no? (In any case i like the idea of brilliance like game engine) Thanks and sorry for mistakes! Have nice day!
Mutter
I started out with Lynch as a Neverborn and eventually turned Ten Thunders, and I've never looked back. Opinions are split on this, but I think he's a much stronger master in TT. Reason being that his biggest liability is the slowness of the crew, and playing him in TT is like continually pushing the NOX button on your engine with all the pushes and the Fast ... The only slow model are Tannen and Depleted if they don't have anyone to push to.
TeddyBear
My Neverborn list eventually: Jakob Lynch -3ss Cache + The Rising Sun - 2ss + Woke Up With a Hand - 2ss + Wanna See a Trick - 1ss The Hungering Darkness + Addict - 1ss (H.D. see mor far then Jacob) The Illuminated - 7ss The Illuminated - 7ss The Illuminated - 7ss Beckoners - 7ss Mr. Tannen - 6ss Mr. Graves - 8ss What do you think about it? Jokerboy
Nice trick for many cards, is using Widow weaver, Freicorps specialist and 3 Deleted. Use Huggys pulse to let the Depleted make horror duels and for each failed duel you can draw a card because of the Widow. Then use Specialist so each Depleted suffers 1 Wound but is not paralyzed anymore. This combo is not good in every game, but 3 more cards mean 3more damage for Lynchs attack and probably more aces. (In any case i like the idea of brilliance like game engine) Thanks and sorry for mistakes! Have nice day! Some good models for Lynch are all the Darkened models, Doppleganger, Terror Tots and Gupps. Doppleganger is just an all-around good model. The Darkened models mostly have the obvious synergy via Brilliance interactions. Terror Tots and Gupps have synergy with Lynch through being able to cycle the 1 to get some great movement. My normal list usually starts with; - Lynch Rising Sun (2ss) Woke Up With a Hand (2ss) - Hungering Darkness (0ss) Fears Given Form (2ss) - Doppleganger (7ss) - Illuminated (7ss) - Illuminated (7ss) - Beckoner (7ss) - Terror Tot (4ss) That doesn't leave a lot of stones left at only 13ss, but you can switch out as needed. Usually I find myself only needing to add to it though. A second Terror Tot if you need more scheme runners. Replace the terror tots with gupps if the strategy is Stake a Claim or the board is terrain heavy. Depleted almost always get included because they're great at taking hits above their cost with HtW and HtK for 4ss. Wanna See a Trick can be a good inclusion though people are more divided on its inclusion than they are on neverborn vs 10T for Lynch. Addict can be a good inclusion if you're going to run a Brilliance heavy list which is great for killy schemes. Aether Connection is a good inclusion for Lynch if Assassinate is in the pool because he's not very tanky at 10 wounds and average stats, and people aren't going to worry about his trigger to deal 2 damage when killing him will get them 2-3 VP. cptRamires
- Lynch Rising Sun (2ss) Expert Cheter (2ss) Addict (1) - Hungering Darkness (0ss) Fears Given Form (1ss) - Doppleganger (7ss) - Lilitu (7) - Illuminated (7ss) - Illuminated (7ss) - Illuminated (7ss) - Mr. Graves (8ss) Retributuion Eye (1) Lilitu and Doppleganger make 4-5 lures per turn, and their "lure" is much stronger then beckoners lure, so it can bring enemy model exact when it can be reached by illuminated after Lynch will give "brilliance" to such unlucky model. Redline
Lynch(7ss cache) +Rising sun (2ss) +Woke up with a hand (2ss)Huggy (0ss) +FGF (1ss)Doppleganger (7ss) +Mimics blessing (1ss)Scion of black blood (8ss) +Mimics blessing (1ss)The illuminated (7ss)The illuminated (7ss)Mr. Graves (8ss) This is my usual Lynch list. I dont take Wanna see a trick for Lynch because in 9 of 10 games it is just loss of soulstone. If Lynch wants thing to be dead, he can kill it even without discarding aces. On the other hand, if you are facing melee-heavy crew, take Expert cheater, as it makes Lynch much more survivable I dont take Addict for huggy simply because it is NOT brilliance-heavy list Doppleganger just because it is awesome, and mimics blessing is my favourite generic neverborn upgrade, as it gives your models much more survivability. Scion is another great neverborn model, 'cause he can do everything you need. Do schemes? Easy! Kill things? Easy! Support your models? Even easier!(there is a bit of synergy with Lynch here, as you can discard 2 aces at the start of models activations to remove all conditions from it, and then have your aces back). Illuminated.. does it really require any explanation? Mr Graves gives your list more mobility, and he is another melee beater. Depending on situation, you may want Retributions eye for graves or even some depleted/tot/wrecth/etc for leftover soulstones Srry for possible mistakes

I would swap out one of the Illuminated for a Doppelganger, she is awesome. This list is killy and capable of blocking the enemy in interact-heavy games. As for the Depleted, use them instead of a Beckoner, and don't bring Tannen - they can tie up enemy models, control quarters, or run straight up to explode. Good luck! Gabbi
I've learned to love my Depleted. Just be aware that shooting-focused crews (i.e. Von Shill) are able to blow them on your face on the very first turn if you leave them in the open Also, even if a bit out of theme, I usually keep a Tot at hand to go for Schemes. I've been on the receiving end of this but never played him at TT. It's seems like the TT get more use out of his card cycling and discard cycling. Only the Terror Tots really get anything out of it Neverborn side, but freaking everyone in TT seems to have a "Discard to..." ability. Lynch is really good at killing things in Neverborn, but most of the time that's just not enough.
lawgivera554
I have found running his minions in kill teams is really effective. Generally, I have a beckoner, depleted and Illuminated run together. Becky walks, lures the depleted and pushes forward. Illuminated double walks. Depleted double walks and pushes towards becky or illuminated. If I take two such kill teams, that makes 6 models near mid field by the end of turn 1. I know people tend to crap all over beckoners but I find them absolutely invaluable in a Lynch crew. Also, always take burying Huggy. Being able to recklessly launch him at a juicy model or just to jam is silly. Lynch is probably one of, if not the, best at running entirely in theme.
