Hoffman, the power loop and buried models?

A Hoffman question. Lets say a Guardian is in the power loop and gets pine boxed by an opposing Death Marshal. My reading of the Bury rules and of the Power Loop condition on Hoffman's card says I can still use stats from the buried model. I would read it as yes, yes you can.

the third paragraph on page 54 can be interpreted as only the conditions that occur at the end of the turn work on buried models.

But I think that is not enough to say that you cannot use powerloop, so I bet for yes you can use it.

I would say no, because you are trying to powerloop with a model that is not in play.

But the model don't need to be in range or LoS, and the condition do not say anything about the models being in play.

Once they're in a Power Loop they're in so doesn't matter if they are Buried because being Buried does not mean that you lose conditions.  Obviously once you activate Hoffman again and it comes off you can't cast Power Loop on something that is Buried.

Seems most of you guys agree with me.

 

Provided the construct is in the loop before being buried (Pine box or whatever bury mechanic) his stats can still be used by other looped models until Hoffman's next activation.
