  1. I use em a lot in Lucius, Dreamer and Hinamatsu/Widow Weaver lists. creep along is nice but situational as mentioned by maniacle_crackle. But you are right, they are nice. Not as good as real scheme runners but good to keep in mind.
  2. I also would reduce the plentiful rule or leave it be. Or, if you really want to safe time an make it challenging, play without summoners. No matter wich kind of summoner... ok it shrinks the amount of possible models but It may open up to a new variety of lists....??
  3. I tried a similar aproach in NVB Lucius. The things I learned back then: 1. you like to activate Lucius early for his misinformation and therefor such a List has to be played differently from „regular Lucius“. 2. you want multiple sources of staggered to get all those buffs... 3. you like to keep alan and scribe close to each other for their auras are awesome. Therefor avoid AoE damage. 4. this kind of list only works on some opponents... Some masters or effects are hard counters
  4. ^^ list looks nice as it seems quite strong in melee. Even though the kunoichi look good I was wondering if a single Coryphee would be better to score the „bombing“? -just for the sake of agile.
  5. I tried Angel Eyes, Agent and 2 Lawyers twice and it worked well but with 3 Lawyers and Doppel its more Extreme. Atm I prefere a Investigator List as mentioned by you. But I find it hard to decide what to leave out of the List. Of course I wann: alan, 2 Investigator, vasilisa, dolls, lawyers. But thats too mich SS. Thanks for the tip to put adversary on my own models. Never though bout that.

  8. I guess its because I love mobility. I love to move my models and the opponents models around. My Crews are: sandeep, colette, Lucius, Collodi/Hinamatsu and Dreamer. Those Crews can move a lot and it makes it easy to deny vp to my opponent. Thats how I win games a lot: score whenever it is easy and dont let the opponent score. I use to play woodelves a lot during warhammer fantasy times and kept working that way. And therefor scatter is brilliant. Gettig enemy models out of position and do whatever I want. LD is secondary to me. Controll the board. Thats how i roll. And maybe its possible in my region- im from germany don’t know international meta yet..... edit: in Hinamatsu I learned the value of bunraku though this forum and your Posts. Hina and the puppets can do a lot of lures...!!!
  9. @Ogid i would consider droping copelius for Hinamatsu. With that much LD she becomes a horrible beast with her plusflip. I use IM in 50-60% or my lists. If not so I summon It 1st or 2nd turn. And I love scatter the most. An awesome Action that allways succeds
  10. With angel eyes and agent you surely want more ss than 4 so you can get crit Strike or armor piercing more often. but tbh the encounter is not suited well for Lucius. Esp. against dreamer. I like your List. 2 madness seem really good with this pool (evidence and claim jump and catch).
  11. If was corner and symbols. Schemes were Research Mission, breakthrough, martyrs, vendetta and leave mark. I took vendetta (valedictorian) and martyrs (Angel eyes, changeling) his List was : New Prof. Von Schtook Crew (Resurrectionist) Size: 50 - Pool: 6 Leader: Prof. Von Schtook The Whisper Totem(s): Research Assistant Hires: Anna Lovelace The Valedictorian Killer Instinct Carrion Emissary Necropunk Necropunk 2 There was a huge distance between our crews. The lawyers stood in the backrow and were quite protected By distance and friendly models/terrain first turn. I Managed to reduce the valedictorians LP with Angel eyes (-6 LP) first turn and my opponent played more and more defensive. Also bc I got his assistend and one necropunk killed early game... he was def. Surprised by the bbs angel lawyer combo. Even though his placement was good my angel eyes or agent always got a good angle to shoot...
  12. Hello again after several matches with arcanists and Collodi I‘m back to Neverborn Lucius. I Played the following lists agains rezzer and they performed well. Managed to kill a doll First turn to summon a stiched. Staggered my opponent and garroted him hard... in both games I got my card Management rolling and used my advantages
  13. I played the following list against Sonja and got my greatest loss in a while. She blew me to shreds. I like the list but it was definitely the wrong encounter (Ley Lines, breakthrough, leave your Mark, catch and release, Claim jump, vendetta) and opponent. As well as me making serous mistakes.   16. I prefere using teddy for the jump since he always moves up straight forward towards the center. Serena sometimes got better things to do like supporting an IM/Stiched/Alp to kill some schemerunner. I like to twist reality (WP) an opponent model, unbury a summoned Alp and afterwards use horrific reality to kill it with serenas melee-attack.
  17. I took one of them in a kind of crazy hinamatsu list: Hinamatsu, effigy, vasilisa, coryphee duet , 3x stiched, daydream + AP so I took him in a puppet-list, that could use the add. 3" movement and lucid dream quite well. With the help of vasilisa I managed to LD 5 times a turn...
  18. I Played Dreamer vs. Shen Long: Recover Evidence! Catch and release, claim jump, hidden martyrs, spread them out, sabotage. My Crew was: Dreamer, LCB, Teddy, Serena, Stiched, Madness, 3x Daydream + 2 Ancient Pact I took Claim jump with teddy and catch and release with madness. To get the Schemes was really easy thanks to Daydream, IM and Teddy. Daydreams moved Teddy up real fast, terrorize kept the enemy at distance and scatter secured the jump. my enemy had a dawn serpend and a high river monk and handed out quite some burning so serena was my fire dept.
  19. First Turn I like spending an 8 in exchange for 5 or 6 Inches. But of course it depends on strats n schemes. I just wanted to point out we may have to think outside the box as for it took me some Time to see the effigy as an mobility thingy. It doesnt shout out loud how good it is but it definitely had an important impact on quite a lot of my Games. Esp since starting to play Hinamatsu as a leader and getting the effigy for free.
  20. Note: I don‘t habe much experience regarding turnaments. In my last few games with Lucius and Puppet Hinamatsu my most efficient schemeteam were Vasilisa, effigy and wicked doll. These three bring some high mobility with em. Vasilisa handing out +1MV and scoop up the effigy. The effigy then lures 2 of my Models forward just to be followed by the doll and creep along. Thats quite some movement. and on Top of that vasilisa and all other Puppet Hand out staggered at the beginning of each Turn. That is quite good stopping your Opponent e. G. In a Dreamer Crew you could move Teddy up next to your opponent first Turn and Vasilisa can Heal him quite well. The effigy himself is also quite tough for 4ss. And of it dies, just summon some stiched or doll...
  21. We might not have access to leap but we do have fly with me, ride with me and a lot of other movement shenenigans(lure, scoop op, Entourage, issue comand, lead nightmare, creep along and many more) and if you need a lot of scheme markers Lucius is your man.

I still play 2 games on Vassal both are at the start of turn 4 and seem close. 1st match against leveticus: recover evidence, wedge, sabotage, hidden martyrs, take prisoner, spread them out, claim jump I took Hinamatsu, Effigy, Vasilisa, Coryphee Duet, Bunraku, Bunraku, Stiched, Stiched... a lot of lure on my crew so I took take prisoner, and in combination with the Strategy I chose hidden martyrs... It got quite bloody for me, since Leveticus and ashes&dust are both realy agressive... 2nd mach against Reva: Symbols of Authority, Wedge, hidden martyrs, claim jump, leave your mark, assassinate, take prisoner My first mach with Dreamer: The Dreamer, LCB, Teddy, Coppelius, Serena Bowman, Stiched, Daydream + AP, Daydream + AP... I chose claim jump with Teddy and assassinate. the claim jump was quite tough though since nearly the whole Reva crew started to bubble up around the centerpoint...
  23. Since the GG1 this Neverborn-Subforum seems quite dead. I still play Neverborn and want to push it. Therefor I stole the Idea of an SUYL-Thread from Guild. 😄 Lets see your lists, schemes, strats, and opposing master..... and if you want you can let us know how it went.
  24. I tried a list yesterday but it was suboptimal because of the strats n schemes. I prefere vasilisa cause of her zero action that gives an additional AP and is able to instantkill a wicked doll first turn after it scooped along and got where you want stiched next turn). Next time I will try Vasilisa, 2 dolls and 1-2 witnesses (depending on schemes). Also possible would be hinamatsu (cause shes a luring offensive puppet), lawyer (shielded on witness, obey, tftj...), alan reid (one more question with coordinated attack and Staggered synergie) or Serena Bowman ((8“ Wp attack).
