  1. I would recommend Terracota Warrior. That way you can change the Pariah upgrade in game.
  2. There's 453 different profiles in Malifaux. Boosting 452 every time 1 is over is simply not reasonable.

  5. They though it was for Marlena Webster's Soul Tethered condition, why not this? Probably they want Nicodem to play different way than until now.
  6. It could have been something like "increase the starting wounds by an amount equal to the amount that this action's final duel total exceeded the TN of this action" You could spent higher cards to summon cheaper models less wounded.
  7. Von Schill's gonna love to target practice with the new Nicodem summons. Maybe a little bit too much hard to start with only 1 wound, time would tell.
  8. Sure? Pull takes place "after succeeding", while Somer's Loudest Squeel is "after an attack action is resolved". I understand "after succeeding" like after winning the duel, even before the damage flip, while "after resolving" sounds like after the damage and any other trigger. But not sure.

  10. If you're gonna bring Anna, I recommend you to put I Pay Better on her. You can give VS Survivalist, The Shirt Comes Off or any other option (I love with him Scout The Field for charging throug walls, buildings or other minis).
  11. I would recommend you to search for a Librarian, since is one of the best Freikorps you can deploy. And for cheap models... Recently we get the 3ss Desperate Merc, who is a steal. The best cheap scheme runners in Outcast are both the Winged Plage and the Void Wretch, with 4ss each.
  12. I've struggled every time I've used Hannah without Ancient Tomes. She's a CC nuker with low mobility and low-average resilience (for her cost), so I cannot find a way to bring her to combat and last enough to make something significant. The few times I've included her with AT, she's been a great piece in my crew, but at 13ss she should be (I always put I Pay Better on a Henchman if I can).
  13. Didn't though about the ss. Anna Lovelace could become a nasty tank, then. Paired with an Engineer is df 6 armour 2 with an autoheal trigger in Ml and can spend ss like her sister.
  14. Armour +1 I've played Hannah a lot, she's really good in certain ways, but not very tanky.

  16. In fact, the only times the Freikorpsmann had done something usefull for me, was when he triggered the +2 df and lasted alive more than expected. A couple of times.
  17. SA is an off-tank. He's quite durable, hit hard, shoots with Sh 7 (the higher among all Freikorps), and anybody can hold him where you don't want him to be. You can simply charge out to another place. I play him a lot with Scout the Field and the charges throug walls and buildings give nightmares to my opponents.
  18. What can I say? I'm a poet xD I'm complaining about FM because I use it a lot, and never worth its cost. Like the Specialist, I must say. He's too slow to be a scheme runner, and also to chase down other scheme runners (i've been more often than not wasting 2-3 turns with him chasing a weaker scheme runner to make 1 point of damage per turn). I think I've never killed anything with them (if I spend cards in improving their power, my opponents simply cheat high in df). The best thing they had made for me is a couple of times forcing my opponent to spend one more turn than spected in killing them, and sometimes being pursued by an enemy beater. Whaaaaaaaat? I think the only reason to me for win games regardless of playing with Freikorpsmann and Specialist is the Strongarm. He's quite awesome.
  19. Sorry, can't take serious that. Freikorpsmann and Trapper are pretty similar? Unimpeded has nothing to do with From the Shadows, since the last is a world better than the first; but not a small world like Pluto, but a whole jupiter. Also, put the Trapper in a good spot and can hold the whole battleground. The Freikorpsmann range is quite worse. And the Trapper can do his work without burning your entire hand.
  20. In fact, not sure if Daw has anything to do with the man who was hanged. He's the manifestation of torment and injustice. Like an Avatar of something bigger. I think that the hood is his face, and the noose form part of his body. He cannot take the bag from his head because the bag IS his head, and there's nothing "inside" of the bag. I use to thing about Jack Daw like Tom Bombadil from LOTR. He's overpowered, immortal and absolutely "irrelevant" for the future of Malifaux, since he 's not interested in anything but his strange wander. He' s useless for the "big" powers of Malifaux, being himself equally or even more powerfull than them.
  21. I've been thinking that, with the "jack of all trades" thing over the Freikorpsmann, is a little bit difficult to balance a 5ss model. I mean, by now the attack of the Freikorpsmann is very weak, but can be improved greatly spending many resources. For a 5ss mini, making a shot of 7-8 damage is quite awesome, specially if it can be followed by a second shot of minimum 3-4 damage (even a second shot with 7-8 damage), or in close combat with Ml 6 and damage between 3-4 and 6-7. Yes, its a big waste of resources (3 cards, two of them with one of those must be at least a 5, plus the high cards to cheat attacks if necessary and the 11+ for the damage cheats), but is absolutely insane that a minion can do this. How do you improve their shitty attack without making uncontrollable with the buffs? Only increasing the min damage up to 2 would mean minimun damages of 4-5. And for the resilience? Def 5, armor +1 and 5 wounds... Increase the def to 6? I'm not against, but they would be along VS and the Steam Trunk the only Freikorps with that defense (and Anna, also). Increase the wounds? Both Trapper and Librarian have 6wd and none feel hard to kill, although it could be different in a 5ss mini. Their mobility? Unimpeded is not the strongest movement boost, here are many options that could be interesting, but this only would improve their scheme runner facet. What would you do?
  22. I think that Mindless Zombies haven't any synergies with Freikorps crews. Seishins can be used to heal a little bit. Seeing that Anna is some kind of engineer, I'd love to see her summoning some kind of construct, like the Clockwork trap. That would fit better with Freikorps than zombies or spirits.
  23. Don't understand the "1 with a bullet" expression. In fact, Specialist was on my list. How would you "fix" the models you consider "subpar" on our faction?
  24. It really depends of how are you gonna play your crew. If you want to keep distances and shoot with Trappers, Lazarus or whatever, Anna can shine disrupting enemy movement tricks, and pushing them away; apart of her own ranged attack. With more CC focused crews, she's not many more valuable than any other 10ss model you could include. Also, she can be quite tanky with the help of the Engineer, def 6 and 9 wounds with armor +2 can be quite annoying. And worse if you keep distances and benefit from obscured.
