  1. The horse looks to be a proper size. This may just work. *ducks out of sight*
  2. Oh. My. God. This image has made my day complete.
  3. Oh I am fully aware. I am just incredibly impatient. *whines and cries in a corner*
  4. This kind of thing sucks for people like me who don't purchase physical books anymore.
  5. Friends came back from Gen Con when Malifaux had first come out. Been playing ever since.
  6. That's what needles and thread are for.
  7. Same as a Corpse Candle. The model is discarded, and then replaced with a corpse marker itself.
  8. But that would also follow that other Professors would be Henchman tier, while the Headmaster himself is the Master.
  9. Would you settle for another Henchman and maybe a couple Instructor Enforcers? The only Master-level character they have would be the Professor himself.
  10. This game really, REALLY does not need any more masters. I would rather see sub-factions get more time in the spotlight than anything. Maybe 1 more Henchman in each faction, plus some Enforcers and Minions, but that's enough for now. What if the theme was "Collaboration and Infiltration" instead of "SHINY NEW THINGS," and we saw more cross-faction interaction? Henchman that allowed for a single type of Characteristic out of faction? Dual faction enforcers? Why not bring some of the other, older characters from the fluff that haven't been given anything and just develop the main story more with what already exists in terms of top-tier leadership?
  11. Then I am at a loss to explain it. It was just on the side of passable for Reva, but not for these guys.
  12. 3D printing the model before it goes out for production would probably help a lot. Not sure if this is how things are already done there, but a decent machine costs $400 to prototype a Ht 3 model. If Wyrd has in-house rendering people, or even just given the GCode file and have the printer on site, they could start printing in the morning and have an exact scale proof by the end of lunchtime. If the completed model doesn't look good in-hand, you touch it up and start again the next day. I don't want my rugged keepers of law and justice trotting into battle on ponies. Just my biased opinion.
  13. Truth. Especially when multiple people already jump on one sale for the limited edition "free" minis. You get four people each throwing money to hit the $300 mark as a group, and some people doing this multiple times, all that money isn't going to an LGS. One store I know stopped carrying Malifaux entirely, and a few others don't keep much in stock besides decks, bases and crew boxes.
  14. So glad I bought the Nightmare McCabe box just to own the Death Donuts. I thought the scale this game was designed in was called "Heroic" not "Sidekick"
  15. Everybody knows that sweeping kick spam is how you win games... MOAR PREVIEWS!!!
  16. Can you be more specific? Generally I wouldn't go throwing anything higher than an Enforcer at the Fated fresh out of the gate.
  17. Impatient consumer is impatient. How long until I can purchase my PDF copy of From the Bayou? Another week? It's boring at work and I need new stuff to read.
  18. "Small Padded Envelope" is the limit on international shipping - I should know, I have mailed several international people copies of cards I had from the Arsenal decks already. Didn't even charge postage - I am a nice guy. The bracket is $6 > $23 > $64 > $85 to continental Europe for the most part. If it doesn't fit in a padded 6 x 9, at less than 1/4" thick, then you're hosed.
  19. It measures a standard 3 feet, but then takes a couple inches off the top. You're powerless to resist.
  20. I got bored with the first page of Nellie's story and haven't attempted to go back to it since (read the rest of the book, though). Can someone bullet point it for me?
  21. So... very... tempting... This. I find that when using a system that translates to tabletop, 1 meter becomes the easiest standard linear measure. Ht values as meters (or yards if you want to keep to strict TtB format) makes the most sense - Ht 1 models being child-size at 2.5-3 ft, Ht 2 being 5-6 ft, etc. Also makes sense for falling - a person can hop down 2 meters and land mostly safe, but 3 meters you start getting that "oops my ankle" risk.
