  1. I watched like half of turn 1, turn 2 and half of turn 3. My 2 cents: Hinamatsu Should have run to get the symbols on the top half of the board. Moving 14" with her would have given you at least 1 more point. Focusing with Hinamatsu is pretty pointless, since the damage track is quite unimpressive, it's better to do more attacks, so a better positioning would had a better impact. Once you dive Fuhatsu, put Hina in a position that Scatter wouldn't get him out of melee. If someone is trying to steal your stones, just use them Serena Bowman She should have moved staying close to the house, which would have given her cover from Fuhatsu. Once she was dead from the Katashiro (such stupid models... being able to get 2 a turn it's bananas), because honestly, after the Demise gets triggered, she's pretty much done, you should had activated her. The idea of protecting her from Misaki wasn't bad, but better to activate her so if she dies, at least you're not giving activation control (and she could have put some damage). Ototo Never go against Ototo unless you're certain you can kill him. Ototo is an amazing model, but with the Grit on, he's a fucking beast. Dreamer Don't be too scared of bringing Dreamer a bit closer to the fight. I didn't see you taking advantage of the Diversion aura, which would have had a massive impact when Ototo used Juggernaut or when Misaki was using her nasty ability to return the cards to the deck (and giving out stunned). Turn 1, instead of the Insidious Madness, Alp + Daydream would have been a better combination. Getting those early lucid dreams would have helped you to get the deck hot earlier + the natural Musk of the Alp would help a bit to keep Misaki/Ototo flipping on for damage. Also, an Alp is great to make sure you kill Ototo once he reaches 1Wd.
  2. Having the printed trigger in the revolver would bump them enough, allowing them to take potshots while walking for 1 damage + the necessary burning. Right now, unless you need the condition removal, they're bad.
  3. Leve or Von Schill are better IMHO. Parker dies if the opponent has a beefy crew. For Wanted Criminal to be worth it, it would have to draw me 4-5 cards, which doesn't always do, but when it does, it's great. I just wish that the "Drop it!" trigger allowed us to put the scheme marker instead of the enemy model, which prevents Parker from drawing extra cards when my other models hit the trigger. I'll try Barbados, after all Sue is just mediocre.
  4. 7ss for a 5/5 with 7 Wounds and no defensive tech? Bad Main attack is a gun that doesn't ignore cover, concealment or friendly fire, in a keyword that provides free cover to the enemy? Terrible One of the main purposes of the gun is to move people around, which you won't be able to do much, since it's a push and model will just stop in base contact with other models, scenery or (oh suprise!) Ice pillars! Ridiculously situational quick action that is going be useful 1 out of 20 games. They're awful models. The only reason to bring them is for analyze weakness, which with Stat 5 and no triggers is plain bad. And believe me, I'm not a super-competitive player or anything, and I really like Raspi's theme.
  5. For the price of those 2 Huckster he could have Minako + Torakage, which both are great in the map/pool.
  6. Sloth can heal Archie without downsides. He can also put sin tokens at 8" with the trigger and give fast to the Rider, so you can reap people out of the bubble (I know you love that ;P). I like your list, but I'm kind of missing a Rogue Necro. I understand the rason behind not bringing it, but that projectile vomit in a crew with Mv4 could have been great.
  7. I've been playing with Marlena more and more (out of those 11 games I've played, 6 were with Marlena), but my list differs a bit from yours: Size: 50 - Pool: 4 Leader: Parker Barrows Wanted Criminal Totem(s): Doc Mitchell Hires: Mad Dog Brackett Sue Hodgepodge Emissary Marlena Webster Pride Pride is just a random pick honestly, although he's decent. Sue becomes resilient enough to make me put him in the table. I could see myself switching from Pride to a Prospector, at least to take care of my own scheme markers that I don't have a use for (only Mad Dog consumes 1/turn). Also, I'm never 100% sure that Wanted Criminal is worth it on Parker, in some games is totally useless and in other draws me 4-6 cards (which could do with triple Stick Up anyways).

  9. Definitely, but the crew doesn't have as much card draw as card "cycling", so it will definitely impact their performance in the opposed duels. Also Kiya with her irreducible chops through Sammy, Alphonse and Swine-Cursed. I said it seems fine, not that it will be easy or Wizz-Bang will have and advantage hahaha
  10. He doesn't have to disengage, he has Scatter. It's fine if you don't know him, but read the card lol xD
  11. So, any outcasts players around? I'm back to Outcast from Bayou. I wanted to play Ressers, but I believe that if there is an errata coming, 2 out of my 3 masters (Reva an Schtook) will be impacted by it. This time I'll try to put Parker in the table, although it seems that I struggle to make him work properly. I've played 11 games with him in GG1, only won 6... I wish we got a small buff for his minions, the Gunslingers are definitely not worth 8ss right now, they're too squishy.
  12. Raspy is still super-resource hungry and her crew sucks. Wong is a no go into ExpSoc, with pairings where you have a chance, other where you're done at master selection. Lord Cooper: Kills at at least 1 model/turn without much effort. Jedza: Doesn't care about stacking glowy, since models just don't die due to the life tokens. You're hurting your models but can't heal them properly. Ivan: Broken or Daeva in your face turn 1, not a happy feeling. Cadmus: If Wong is in range for dropping some shockwaves, he's in range of being charged by Shambling Nests or even worse, Berserker Husks. They're relentless and Wong is the master with the worst defenses in the game, if you can't declare Quick Gateway he's dead. Anya: She can easily dive into your backline and kill your support models so the crew will start falling apart. EVS: Seems fine. McCabe: Better shooting, high mobility. Tough matchup but nothing too bad. Basse: Depending on the map, it could even be favorable for Wong. If the Sand Worm can get into your backline, you're done. Add to that the Emissary, and suddenly shockwaves suck. Specially the ones that don't put conditions.
  13. If the anti-demise tech is attacking the corpse candle I'll be a happy person. They have the versatile 4ss minion, although it's not an easy TN to get.
  14. Midnight Stalker is the only decent scheme runner without paying OOK tax most of the time, so it's not like Outcasts have more of a choice. There are crews that can live without him, there are others that don't have anything even close to be better. Serena Bowman is the same for Neverborn, but in the healing department (and condition removal).
  15. Scoring Assassinate vs Misaki is between really hard and impossible. Add a low river monk, the best healer in the game (quality/price) and Assassinate is practically out of the table. Research mission is an option, since Stitched can be helpful with that. If Fuhatsu sees the Bandersnatch, it's dead.
  16. I share your opinion, but honestly, 15ss is too little. I would like to see an official format in GG2 that only allows to spend 20ss (including tax) in OOK models (so, including versatiles). @Filox congrats on the Perdita's win. Happy to see a monster hunter and surprised to not see Nino, he's kind of the core of the crew for me, specially with Abuela around.
  17. My hero! I just recently bought him (fell in love with him after 1 vassal game), now I need to know how to play him properly. So far so good, but I struggle to get any real shenanigans with the ice pillars.
  18. Ivan is definitely a top master. Not 100% sure that better than things like Dreamer, but definitely on the top 5 of best masters. If he's not OP, he's borderline. I don't think Jedza is a problem. She's really good, but there's ways to deal with her. I believe that Maxime is better than Jedza, maybe close to Ivan levels, but she and her crew really need a lot of practice. Anya and Lord Cooper are good, better tan the overall if we take into account all the factions, but nothing close to be OP. I'm actually fine with the Emissary having Df7. He has Wp5 and take the hit doesn't come for free. The healing however, should be once per activation.
  19. Mad Dog overperforms what? Have you even heard about Fuhatsu? lol Mad Dog is a good model for 10ss, but not stellar. He's seen OOK because Blow it to Hell and Outcast not having a good versatile ranged option (sorry Hans).
  20. The worst offender of the synergy problems for me, is that there are models with Final Repose and models that interact with corpse. Also the different ranges for auras and abilities like "False Accusation" bothers me, since ones are at 5", others 3", others 6"...
  21. They definitely know how to write "Ours"
  22. My 2 cents: @belorey suggestions are too powerful. Staggered + Stunned is IMHO one of the most powerful combinations of conditions, add to that also slow and then is just better that straight killing the model. Let's analyze what we have so far: Research Specimens Staggered and interactions with staggered Bonuses for having multiple models in base contact with an enemy model Healing So, I would work around that. First, give Research Specimens + Restraints as the thematic ability. That Emergency Surgery and Bottle of Painkillers should be in too, since they seem pretty thematic. Nurses from McMourning could even get double keyword (or a new henchman nurse that is double keyword). A bunch of "Stagger" triggers seems mandatory. For the master I would give him one of those abilities with "when this model is the leader", that puts poison in models equally to the healed amount that try to heal within 8" (because you know, testing medication). Lobotomy is a nice trigger, but I would keep it as something exclusive to Grimwell.
  23. Most of this discussion is focused from a competitive perspective. I'll have to agree that a well played Cadmus vs a less experienced player (or a player that is trying something that doesn't know by heart) can also feel like an uphill battle, but for casual games it shouldn't be a big problem. Wyrd usually releases a new errata almost every year, so there is the possibility that Cadmus will get adjusted. However, since it's not even for sale yet, I wouldn't count on that happening anytime soon.
