if you want to voidspam. Ignore the defense grows with less handcard-shenanigans of your crew and focus on the other ways of defense. they cant engage you when they are slow and lack the 2-Ap to charge you. Void wretched can slow for a 0 and tara can slow at range. Dont uderestimate taras slow. Its at Ca 7 and leaves many beater useless if all they can do per round is to make a walk 5 towards you. theycant engage you when you do the incorporeal hiding and running through terrain. they cant shootyou when they cant see you behind terrain. They cant shoot or charge you when theyve got a Nothingbeast to the face. Nothing beast is more than your beatstick. Think of it as the tank for your voidwretches. Dont forget that damage prevention through Soulstoning occurs AFTER reducing the damage by 50% due to incorporeal on the Nothingbeast. "Scout the field" on nothingbeast lets you deploy the beastbomb even more annoyingly

Burying enemy models is a trap with tara. Never count on them getting buried count on them burning cards to not get buried. Bury only yourself and dont count on unreliable enemy-buries. Tara is great inbtw. :-P Against McMourning i would try sth like this: Tara: 4ss, Knowledge of Eternity, Obliteration Symbiote, Oath keeper Malifaux Child Rusty Alyce Lazarus: Oath keeper Death Marshall Abomination Abomination Abomination Abomination draw/shuffle 2 additional cards for SS turn 1. Activate tara first. walk 3 times. draw card with abomination, draw card with abomination, draw card with abomination draw card with abomination and form desolation engine. Walk desolation engine. malifaux child buries lazarus andmake shim fast by copying taras pull the void. Lazarus relents and if needed cheats dow on glimpse the void to bury. Death marshall activates and buries rusty. She relents. Tara activates again uses oath keeper to walk 2 times into a good shooting position and then unbury rusty alyce and lazarus. rusty alyce activates and gives reactivate to lazarus. Lazarus activates, discars a card and can now shoot 4 times through auto fire and fast and heals through its 0. Lazarus reactivates, discards oath keeper and a card to shoot again 4 times through uto fire and fast and heals through its 0. Turn 2 you bury and unbury desoengine intoposition to chainactivate it into whats left... this should help you against mcmournings poison bubble as tara ;P

Schills totem has his anti-poison bubble. Hamelin, Nix, A&D... AND They cant poison you if they died to an alpha-strike. So alpha-misaki, alpha-tara, alpha-viks... alpha-Levi...maybe even alpha jack...:P

I usually run 3 rat catchers.

Viks have great upgrade, Tara has great upgrade becaause nothings better than a buff for FREE xD, Hamelin got nice upgrade and as weird as it sounds... misaki got a great upgrade. Put The bigger they are on her + the blast upgrade that lets her allways cheat damage and choose whos going to get hurt by the blast and the +1 damage bonus adds up as the + 1 damage also counts to damage caused by blasts. this way her blasts can become 3 onmoderate and 4 on severe. thats not shabby. And von schills upgrade which lets him chain his attacks for up to 10 attacks per turn lets you fish for black jokers as easy as...well it took me a while to realise that tara is still the better freikorps-leader.

ppl want solo librarian and trapper because theyre good models and you dont get them outside of a schill box. BUT normal hannah is so ugly and TTB-Hannah is near impossible to acquire.

Yeah... don't see what levi can bring to the table besides 3 additional activations and a hiring pool not really needed in outcast. If i want to kill stuff i dont hire levi anymore. i hire jack oro viks... even hamelin and tara gets to kill stuff better right now.

As far as i know, hamelin/Viks are the two powerhouses of outcast. But this doesnt mean parker isnt competitiv. Hes not as good as viks or hamelin but definitely not brewmaster or yan lo tier. If you need to pick the very best of outcast, pick hamelin. If your ok with playing an average master (not underaverage) whos looks you like, pick parker. Btw. i'd consider tara to be outcasts best generalist. Her supporting isn't chained to any keywords (opening up which models she could pick and support effectively). and being fast and mobile removes many downsides of some of the best outcast models. And she can be hell of offensive master besides the old kiljoy bomb you could experiment with like lazarus shoots 8x into the enemy deployment zone turn one or bishop flurries 4x gor 12 attacks turn one

The ones with allready 3 dual factions are out i suppose. Which leaves arcanists, outcast and gremlins. Sooo... 1x Arcanist Outcast? 1x Gremlin Arcanist? This way every faction (with the exception of 10T) gets his 3 dual factions... would be nice

Nope, she only unburies if killed. Being sacrificed doesn't count. But yeah the model still drops markers as normal.

VS with freikorps trapper and double focus will remove 1-2 models with 1-2 good cards.
