  1. Nurse is very good model for Zoraida (by Denial / Buff / Heal), But I don't think Papa Loco is good as like her. Because if your opponent can control him(For example, Obey), Opponent usually make he kill himself or go to useless position. But if your opponent don't have counter like obey, He will be good.
  2. Eternal fiend is good and useful, but it has a trap. Because it means you must remove(kill, sacrifice, bury) a swampfiend model to summon Bad Juju. It works as Addtional SS, So If you want to use it wisely...... 1. Take Cheap and Expendable Model like Gupps. Waldgeist & Silurid sometimes are too valuable to sacrifice in 1-2 turn. 2. You can remove your own model to summon Bad juju. If you think you really needs it..... 3. Watch out Something like Reckoning, Tara & Voids. Opponent can get advantages from Eternal fiend by them. Fears Given Form is also good upgrade. You just move Bad juju into Opponent's models. But Watch out, It works against your other models. In Zoraida Crew, Bad juju's job usually is not killing big things. Because You can usually kill big things by Voodoo Doll.
  3. When I replied, I saw post 21. So I didn't say about that. Vendetta's VP is Specified model's First Attack Action to Specified Target = VP 1 & revealed / Target's Death after revealed = VP 1 Death by Specified model = VP 1. In the game, Specified model is The Witchling Stalker, Target is young Nephilim. And Scribe is Neverborn / Guild model that has 'butler' ability. I know vendetta's rule, too. I just wanted to ask that it work correctly in the game.
  4. Oops, I forget it. But It just worked Severe Damage. Flameburst Damage is 2/3/5, So if Sorrow(full wounds) hit by Flameburst trigger Consuming Flame.... Weak : Sorrow lose 2 wound and get Burning+1, so Guild needs something to kill poor Sorrow. Moderate : Sorrow lose 3 wound and get Burning+1, so Neverborn needs something to save poor Sorrow. Severe : Sorrow is gone. Nothing happen. In Weak / Moderate situation, Sonnia can cast Flameburst again to summon Witchling Stalker(If she can).
  5. hmmm. I like Clue(or Cluedo), too. But I think butler wasn't there, so your Suggestion is false. Because Butler is Scribe (by his ability). And what I want to ask is How Vendetta's logic for VP worked. Because I sometimes see some newbies mistake that.
  6. Ok, other people say what I want to point out. But I have a question about "Vendetta". Who and how kill your Young Nephilim?
  7. Aura's LoS is not important thing. Important thing is Flameburst. Sonnia can kill a Sorrow by 1-2 Flameburst and summon a witchling stalker by Reincarnation Upgrade. So If you want to use Sorrow, hide them until you can use them as Myyrä said. Don't overrate Sorrow. Misery is good, but Sorrow is very fragile against Ca attack.
  8. Tuco's important things are three, Nephilim(Synergy) / From the Shadow(Deployment) / His Shotgun(Range Attack). It means If you want/need other things, take other model. So I think Tuco's value depends on what Strategy & Schemes are, too. And I agree Tom's opinion about Graves & Lilitu, Black Blood Shaman. Addtionally, I think Tuco never be worse than Lelu in Nephilim Crew.
  9. Yes, Tuco can be good model in some situations. But I think Tuco is average model without those situations. And Masterdisaster want to use only nephilim, only Nephilim Crew is one of "some situations". So My answer for this thread is "To Tuco", too.
  10. Tuco is not really bad. But Neverborn can hire Freikorps Trapper or other Nephilim to replace his job......
  11. How about Mysterious Effigy's (0) Action?
  12. Wk duel is simple duel. Someone's models need to filp for simple duels, their player filps cards for them. And Cyclone crash's "All" means your own non-nephilim models are affected by it, too. So you filp for your non-nephilims' Wk duels, Opponent filps for his/her non-nephilims' Wk duels. But your models(Barbaros, Young, Tots) are all nephilims, so you don't need to filp for them. "The one who control the action flips" is for control spell like obey. For Example, you can make opponent's some model do (1) action for you by obey. In this action, You must filp/cheat for its duel. Because you control it in the action. P.S : As I know, Barbaros' round size become 40mm in Errata.
  13. First, I will swap some upgrades. I will give Fears Given Form to Bad Juju. Mctavish is for range attack, so he don't need to upgrade for melee. But Bad juju is beatstick, so he likes upgrade for melee. And if you want, you can give Hex Among you to Mctavish. And by Eternal Fiend, Bad juju is not deployed in start. So you need one to die for Bad juju. Gator is not bad choice for that. But how about Gupps? They are mini-silurids, cheaper and faster and used for more scheme than Gator.
  14. Lucius' Scheme Denials are very good, but we talk about 'some strategies' in this thread. So I ignore them. So I just mean denial 'for these strategies(= against models).' Something like Horror to paralyze, Slow to lose AP and so on. I think 'His' Denials are good for Scheme, but they aren't useful for these. I think Lucius 'usually' be better as Guild master because his guardsmen-centric style can get more advantages in guild. In guild, Lucius can give Accomplice to Guardsmen (by Watch Your Back) and he can take more guardsmen. Additionally, He can take models like witchling stalker(to remove condition) to help guardsmen. Neverborn's melee dealing and denial are very helpful, too. But Lucius can take mimic models for these things in guild. But I think Lucius is more enjoyable in Neverborn, So I hardly play him as guild master.
  15. The logic is Simple. More non-Peon models in table Quarter = VP in these strategies. So If a crew has more non-Peon models than opponents, the crew can get advantage. Now see some masters that I take for these strategies. Collodi Useful but limited. So I think about other things(Opponent's Factions, Schemes.... etc) to take Collodi for these strategies. Minion pool - Collodi's low cost minion pool is great. He have Marionettes(3ss) & Effigies(4ss) and other neverborn low cost minions. AP Control - Pull the Strings can move Opponent's models for VP denial and My will can move Collodi's minion for VP. Limited Summoning - Collodi's summoning is not useful to add a new model, so It usually use to recycle his puppets. It needs scrap marker. Limited Control Range - Collodi's buff range is only 6", so some models sometimes can't get his buffs. Lucius Lucius usually be better as Guild master. In these Strategy, He is better as Guild master, too. Guild Models - Hound is cheap minion, Warden can push opponent's model. Austringer can hold table quarter more easily. Good Control Range - Issue Command's Range become 14" for Guardsman or mimic. No Summoning - If your opponent's crew has more models, you must think about how to kill or engage opponent's models. Limited Denial - Lucius and Guardsmen don't have 'good' denial. So you want to deny opponents, take other model for that. Dreamer Dreamer has good summoning and useful buffs. I agree that dreamer is our best master for these strategy (Ignore about other things). Good Summoning - Dreamer can summon alps(for engagement), and other nightmare non-peons, even Teddy (for VP) Good Denial - Think about Coppelius(Horror duel) or Lilitu(4" Melee). Limited Control Range - Empty Night is just 6" range action, but it is not big problem. Because it is enough to buff models in frontline. Limited Model Pool(A little) - Summoning is Powerful, but Many Nightmare non-peons have "Rare x". It isn't big problem like control Range.

    candy?

Candy is Toolbox Henchman. She is jill of all trades, master of none. Her Ca is not high, but She can do Deal / Denial / Heal / Tank. That's her appeal point. For Example, Lucius doesn't have Wp Debuff or Denial, but his synergy with Candy is very good. So If you want to use Candy, you must think what other models in your crew can't do.(except Pandora Crew) and how can Candy solve that. If Some other model can solve that or Candy can't solve that, you don't need to use Candy. In Pandora Crew, you can use enough Wp Debuff easily than other master's crew. So Candy's Ca is not problem in Pandora Crew. Just Use Candy as little Pandora. P.S : Mature is fragile. But How about Teddy?
  17. I think you forget something. Death's Whip works to only undead models. And Nicodem, Mortimer and his Vultures are living. So I like to hit them. And Beckoner's Lure / Vasilisa's Obey and something more are useful against Death's Whip . But most important thing is Carrion Effigy, Collodi's best counter against Ressers. By Carrion Effigy + Fated, every buffed minion and puppet can discard a Corpse Marker at start of its activation. And It's Diminished Resistance makes opponent's models lose Immunity to Horror Duels, Slow, Paralyzed, Poison. This Trick's Problems are Simple. I must run my crew near Nicodem and protect my carrion effigy. But if it works.....
  18. I Always take Collodi against Ressers. Because I like these Situations. Crew - "Sorry, I don't have living models, make corpse marker by your own models." Collodi - "Now this model get Slow, and I can make this model (1) Action for me..." (by Pull the Strings Triggers) Widow Weaver - "Could I borrow some corpse marker? I'll show cute bear to you." (by Handbag Upgrade) Arcane Effigy - "Your condition debuff is futile." (Collodi can take any puppet model in his Crew except voodoo doll, Arcane Effigy can remove condition.) Carrion Effigy - "hmmm.... Your corpse marker tastes like Chicken..." (Collodi can take any puppet model in his Crew except voodoo doll, Carrion Effigy make Leader can discard corpse marker to heal him/herself) Stitched Together - "So, How is this model's Df?" (Gamble your Life is Df Casting Attack) and more...

    candy?

In short, 'Synergy of Lucius with Candy' means Candy solves Lucius' Crew's problems. Because Lucius doesn't help her except Red Tape & What Lackeys Are For, so Candy helps Lucius in their Combination. Lucius' Crew usually has enough gunpower by Guardsman(Riflemen, Pathfinder, Austringer). But it means other things must do by other models. And as we know, Candy is useful for Heal & Denial, Melee. And Candy is mimic, so Lucius can take her in any faction. Those make her Lucius' Toolbox. Candy can do almost all things Lucius' gunners can't. Now see some their combo. Red Tape (by Lucius & Scribe's Trigger) against Minion and Mimic models. It is very powerful defensive trigger, but limited. If it works, it means Lucius or Scribe is near opponents. So I think it must be used as combo with What Lackeys Are for. Devil's Deal / Good Basket Goody Basket 'can' be used to heal 'Free' Soulstone's damage. But I don't recommend it. Because Candy's AP can be used more important things. And some good minions have ways to solve problem by Devil's Deal. For Example, Illuminated can heal him/herself, Guild Pathfinder can summon Trap. They are good ability / tactical action, but you don't need to tie them. What Lackeys Are For + Fears Given Form + @(Candy's 2nd Upgrade) Move Lucius near Opponent's models and use What Lackeys Are For to place Candy. It save Candy's Activation (Think Manipulate) and AP. Activate Candy and "Play" with Opponent's models. I think 2nd Upgrade is for survival, So I choose Mimic's Blessing or Best Behavior. Austringer's Delivery Order can be used to escape, too (2" Push). But I think It is more useful for Doppleganger or other Scheme Runner's Interacts. Mood Swing (By Candy's Trigger) + Warden(Guardsman Model) Mood Swing makes opponent's model activated in wrong time, and Warden can get additional against activated model. So Opponent' models 'activated in wrong time' become Warden's easy targets. Warden is not powerful, but it can paralyze( ) or push( ) target. This combo can be used only in Lucius' Crew.
  20. Because other people already recommended good models for Pandora, I say about "why" they are good with Pandora easily. Simply, Pandora's main tactics are Damage Dealing & Denial by Wp Dual. She can do them very well, but she is poor at other things (just relatively). So Her main synergy is very simple. If some model can force Wp dual to Opponents or get bonus by Wp dual, it usually has synergy with Pandora. = Barbaros, Insidious Madness, Beckoner and so on. And many Woe models are fragile and their damage are usually not brutal, so Pandora sometimes needs big models for those problems. = Poltergeist(If opponent don't have useful anti-incorporeal attacks), Teddy, Bad juju and so on. Finally, Pandora hardly has advantage for VP(except VP by kill something). So Models for VP are very useful, too. = Primordial Magic, Silurids, Terror Tot and so on. These "type" classifications can be overlapped. And 2~3 types models are usually more useful than only 1 type models. For Example, Sorrow can help to damage dealing by Wp Dual (And It is in Pandora's crew box.) But Insidious Madness can do like Sorrow and it is more useful than sorrow as Scheme Runner. So many people think Insidious madness is better than Sorrow.
  21. Yes, Sorrow can get VP, But I think Insidious Madness can be better to get VP. First, Sorrow is same cost as Insidious Madness. And they are same Woe & Incorporeal model. And Insidious Madness' Wk, Df, Wp are better than Sorrow(Except Move by Misery Loves Company). Though Insidious Madness is 3 Wd, but Sorrow is only 4 Wd, too. And Poltergeist's rival as VP collecter is Primodial Magic. It is just 2ss model, but You can get "mobile marker" and "rush of magic" and "free 3ss". So I think Poltergeist and Sorrow are very situational models to get VP.
  22. VP is most important thing to win. And not every Scheme and Strategy need to kill for VP. But Some Woe Models like Sorrow and Poltergeist are made only to kill or deny Opponents. That is their problem. Other Models can do like them and Opponents know what they will do and their solutions. Pandora can kill models without their supports, so she can use other models like Primordial Magic for VP.
  23. "Mannequin" is always good. It needs other showgirls to use its all ability, but Magician's Assistant and Triggers are very useful without them. I think Mannequin is better than Collodi's other Scheme Marker Thrower, Shadow Effigy. Coryphee is Beatstick "&" Scheme Runner. But Neverborn have The Illuminated(Beatstick) and Silurid(Scheme Runner) and they all are same costs. It means if you need only Beatstick "or" Scheme Runner, other 7ss models can be better. So Coryphee's points are versatility and "showgirl" type. It is not bad, but its rivals are good, too. And Watch out "Ignore Armor" attack, It can kill Mannequin and Coryphee very easily.
  24. Generally, Ways to spoil Opponent's Scheme Run are two. Kill Scheme Runners or Deny them. And Neverborn can do all ways. I like to use Vasilisa for Denial. She is Fast, and Her Melee Triggers and Obey can spoil Opponent's Scheme Run. But she is expensive and very fragile, so I don't recommend her to others.
  25. I think dreamer can manipulate non-nightmare minions, too.
