  1. Misaki's upgrades - and the upgrades of most dual-faction masters - are all dual-faction.
  2. It makes it look like Myranda went all Predator... Very awesome idea.
  3. I usually just paint the face, then do horizontal slashes of off-white for the eyes. I'll go in and do vertical slashes of a darker color for the pupil, and then come back and paint the face color in around the edges of the eyes. It works so much better than actually trying to dot the eyes. As far as shading goes, GW sells a "Reikland Fleshshade" wash that works great for skin tones, especially with their "Cadian Fleshtone" base skin color.
  4. ...no? On occasion, some people might like things that you do not. This is okay.
  5. I saw it last weekend, and thought it looked pretty good. It's an awesome hat.
  6. Way back when, early in Beta for Wave 1 models, Friekorps Armor would have allowed them to ignore damage from auras, so that line was added to Pandora's upgrade. When the Friekorps Armor changed, Pandora's upgrade did not, making it a bit of an artifact. Still, it doesn't hurt anything by being there, and I believe that it would allow Misery to affect Seishin (in their current form).
  7. Right here, under the Neverborn rules.
  8. We'll be holding a Malifaux Demo / Game Day on December 21st, from 1 pm to 7 pm. Come down and play a demo game, either with the models we're providing or with a crew of your own, or just get a few games in against other Malifaux players! Place: Universal Bits and Games, 3920 S. Western Ave Suite #2, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57105. (The store is in the back of the building, with an external entrance) Store Phone: (605) 271-7660 Time: 1 pm - 7 pm, Saturday, December 21st.
  9. Illuminated are dual-faction Ten Thunders and Neverborn. Every Neverborn master can take them both in the same crew.
  10. One way is to just activate Sebastian or McMourning first, and then move them out of range of the aura. You can also shut down the aura by blocking the aura of their Catalyst from reaching the Flesh Construct. It sort of sucks right at the start of the battle, but I've found that once they get into things, getting two pings of healing a turn is pretty nice.
  11. Gaki can help as well, as they have a double crow trigger that drops corpses.
  12. McMourning wouldn't heal, because he's not dealing damage with a Ml attack. Pandora's Self Loathing attack is dealing damage to him; the attack is just copying the damage profile from one of McMourning's (1) AP attacks.
  13. I think that pretty much sums up my concerns on them. They're nothing you'd really spam outside of Seamus or Molly, but for 10ss it seems as if two of them are near auto-include in Resser lists. I don't think it's a "rush out and nerf them" situation, but I wanted to at least mention my thoughts on them in my battle report, since one of the goals of M2E was to move away from auto-include models.
  14. In my opinion, the Ruthless model would not have to take a Horror test.
  15. I would think that Unrelenting Terror would remove immunity to Horror Duels specifically, such as that granted by Relentless, but that immunity to Willpower duels in general, such as that granted by Ruthless, would still apply.
  16. Yes. It's only Walk actions that provoke disengaging strikes, so there's nothing an opponent can do to keep a Silurid from leaping away from combat. The model moves, but it doesn't take a Walk action, so there's no disengaging strike. This is also why Rotten Belles can Lure models out of combat without provoking disengaging strikes.
  17. Yeah, those guys look pretty great!
  18. Decaying Aura also prevents soulstone use for damage prevention, which can really toss a wrench into the plans of Masters and Henchmen you catch in its aura.
  19. It might be better just to focus upon less scheme-marker dependant schemes when you have them, such as Distract, Cursed Object, or even Assassination, Murder Protege, or Bodyguard. That would allow you to stay together in a little death cloud near Nicodem. It's not a perfect solution, but something to keep in mind. Note that poison triggers at the end of the turn, not during a model's activation. I've found that with summoners, you're generally better off using your soulstones to add suits to high cards in your hand, rather than trying for the on your casting flip. The odds of lucking into a high crow are rather low. Punk Zombies and Iron Zombies are pretty decent, and as others have noted, Belles are also pretty good. The Hanged can also be very good for neutering Masters and Henchman, so I would put them on the list of models to try out. I've found that decay is best used to both damage enemies and to heal your own models. Remember that you can target your own models and cheat in a low card on their defense to get the Blasts in the middle of a melee. Using Rigor Mortis to debuff the enemies while your undead take them out is also helpful.
  20. Just picked up Pandora, Transmortis, and some plastic Orphanage babies for a friend. Awesome sale!
  21. I really like her with Hunters, both to harpoon enemy models into her engagement range or to harpoon Justice herself, dragging her around the battlefield like murder on a rope.
  22. On this same note, for the transparent/smoke/dayglow models, do they still accept paint as readily as the plastic sets?
  23. I'm really loving this sale! Is it possible to get a glimpse at the Transparent and Day Glow Pandora sets? Even if it's just a snap shot of the sprues.
  24. Hello everyone! We'll be holding a Malifaux Tournament this Sunday at Universal Bits and Games. Place: Universal Bits and Games, 3920 S. Western Ave Suite #2, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57105. (The store is in the back of the building, with an external entrance) Store Phone: (605) 271-7660 Time: Sunday, December 1st. Registration opens 10 am, with rounds starting at 10pm. We expect to be finished around 6pm or so. The tournament will be 3 rounds with a fixed 45ss master and list. Wave 2 models are allowed, but you must have the updated rules for your models printed out and with you. We've got lots of new players, so this is intended as a fun "newbie-friendly" tournament.
