Banning someone from an event should be a final resort, used only after every other option has been exhausted. If someone has been warned and still causes trouble then a ban might be an option. But if said person has been banned just because they're not friends with the TO then that is out of order. If you just want to play your friend set up a closed casual play day not a tournament. People are always going to clash but the point of being a grown adult is to understand how to react like an adult in these situations. I'm sure there are plenty of other factors to this that I don't know but on the surface banning someone who has done nothing wrong because you don't like who they are is only a short step away from banning someone because you don't like what they are. (not 100% any of that is actually English or makes complete sense but its been a long day)

Kicked of the new years painting queue First up was the time lord. I have to say I really struggled with this model and I'm not sure why despite how cool the model is nothing really jumped out at me with it. Next up I did my shikome. Really enjoyed these tried to paint a lot cleaner and clearer than I usually do And lastly Datsue Ba. Tried to use a lot of different styles with her the OSL looks a bit better in the picture than it actually is as I was a bit clumsy with it but learned a lot from the process so should be able to do better next time

The same as a few others it seems I've started running Kirai lately, I decided to do a few blog posts on her spirits as a way to help me learn what they do. The first one on seishin is up here http://abnormalifaux.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/in-spirit-of-things.html#more

I run her is ressers quite a bit, she has no real combo with Kirai except for looking cool but Kirai is also where I like to run her. I tend to send her off on her own leaving the kirai bubble to do what it does. One of the aura upgrades are never a bad call with her unnerving if you want her to hold a position or the other one if you want her to go hunting. I tend to think of her as a giant gaki and just send he off up the table.

The brown is fur like fauns, think of them like the meth addicted spawn of Mr Tumnus.

Its been slow on the hobby front lately, only thing I've managed is this trio of tots.

I like the idea of story events but I think the showdown series works well as they are. Maybe a story threaded between the different showdowns to tie them together without making it the main draw? (no suggestion on how that would work)

Another merc to join the Ressers. I've added a camera to Hans for three reasons. One if Molly is a reporter she needs a photographer. Two "smile you son of a..." Action says photographer to me. And three it was fun.

Painting up my first (and last?) Gremlin. Mr Burt Jebsen. Great little model with loads of character, I tried to make him quite bright and bold. Once again I'm attempting NMM still not there but getting closer.
