  1. The Guardian problem happened to me as well. I was lucky an managed to pin it. You just need to have a 0.8mm drill bit and patience. Glue alone will not cut it and even if you use green stuff it will need a pin for strength.
  2. I like the idea of using the governors proxy when I think I will be facing bête noir. Strip the crow from her bury spell and my opponent must have one of 4 cards to save her
  3. The only reason I believe it is a mistake is becuase the pistol in the Large Death Marshalls hand has also scaled with the rest of the model. I do remember reading fluff about a giant one eyed DM, maybe it is based on him in some way but I don't remember reading about him carrying a cannon instead of a pistol
  4. There are people on all sides of the fence on this one, Some say they are meant to be that way i.e. "People aren't all the same height" Some say that these huge are mistakes that need to be corrected Some don't really care as while some of the minis are a little big its not a massive issue. I fall under #3 personally. While I like to see some variety in the size of my minis to represent the variation in peoples height etc. I do think that all of the scaling issues are mistakes that have not been caught onto in the QA process. I put this down to Wyrd still being relatively new in the plastic mini game and learning as they go. Eventually they will have learnt from all the mistakes so far and will have a rigid QA process locked down that will catch these issues earlier in the future.
  5. That is very much appreciated Dave!
  6. This should help http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff29/Wyrd-Miniatures/MisakiSet.jpg
  7. yeah, prices are rocketing. Kicking myself for not booking on Monday when I booked the flights.
  8. Damn! You got a bargain. I am about to book mine now and its £123 for the two nights.
  9. I have a feeling that Bob and I will be staying at the Premier Inn York North West as well.
  10. I'm tempted to try 2 hunters in Reconnoiter. Models that can drag opponent and can switch from one quarter to another at the end of each turn thanks to a 3" push could work well
  11. How about steampunk Dorothy? http://www.guildofharmony.com/gallery/automaton/greens/AUSCON_Dorothy.jpg
  12. Myself and Bob just booked our flights so we will be there!
  13. To be fair there is a clear message when submitting the form telling you that you will not hear from them.
  14. You will not hear anything. I have had a couple of similar experiences and after submitting the missing parts form I generally receive a replacement withing 3-4 weeks. I all depends on your location of course. It doesnt take as long to ship within the states as it does to ship to Australia.
  15. I bought a bottle of FPS and poured it into a plastic lunch box. I then submerged the mini in the FPS for about 30 minutes and then cleaned the paint off with a toothbrush at the sink. Then I just rinsed the model under the tap and 99% of the paint & primer was removed. As always with new techniques try it on an old mini that you don't care about first. While I haven't had any problems I don't want your minis being ruined because of my advise
  16. If you're from the UK you can use Fairy Power Spray
  17. If there was ever any doubt, I will be there
  18. open a missing parts query from the main page
  19. I thought you could play malifaux without the use of mathematical equations? It is pretty much impossible to line minis up perfectly during a game so they block LOS so I cannot see how this would ever come up for rules query.
  20. Bishop is like a swiss army knife. He is always useful in my experience.
  21. are you looking for the plastics or the limited edition metal sculpts from the Dead Justice box? If your looking for plastics there is 1 on eBay at the moment.
