  1. Spread it around: wen resolving, the target suffers +exploding damage and models damaged by this action gain staggered. I am unsure about the + exploding damage clause becuase the damage track is 2/3blast/3blast if i got moderate with the trigger do i cause 3blast on the target, then the target suffers an extra 2 damage (step down from the blast) ? If i got severe with the trigger do i cause 3blast on the target, then the target suffers an extra 2 damage (step down from the blast) ? cheers.
  2. I feel you on this. Manos has the helmet, and his 'lantern' is somewhat an ancient container for ceremonial purposes .... but is used upside down. And his big necklace, spear, and uniform makes him look like a mish-mash of shaolin monk and ninja with Thai warrior. For the local culture's perspective things might seem abit about of place - but for the rest of the world, the design really clicks and appeals to audience of Wyrd. I actually absolutely adore the Demador de cadavres design very much. I want them to look like mexicans celebrating dia de los muertos dressed with bullfighter suits. - might appear naive of me coming from a different culture - but it works for me - and probably appeals to the crowd. same can be said for Mr. Manos as well.
  3. put on some pictures man being one of the most seasoned malifaux player in Bangkok (since Malifaux v1), I was absolutely spanked by all the new comers with warmachine backgrounds. These guys are intense!
  4. Here's my speculation of Wyrd's reference for Manos the Risen. Notice the curly pattern on his hat, and the spikey top? it takes a Thai guy to recognise an ancient Thai (Siamese) Warrior's hat. I reckon these are design queues taken from medieval Thai or Burmese warrior uniforms see the Naresuan films for reference Manos is also a potential spin on a common Thai name in that time. มานัส or มานพ are common male names which are pronounced manus or manop respectiely. Regardless of whether I'm even vaguely right on this or not, i'm still glad that Wyrd has gone all out to represent every culture possible and absolutely love them for it. (We've got roughly 100 malifaux players in 4-5 gaming shops across Bangkok, come find us if you drop by!)
  5. Plastic! thats lovely to hear. Really dont mind the materials as long as they will be available! I hope they will show up in the stretch goals at some point!
  6. @ Wyrd and Community Has anyone ever mentioned the idea of custom resin bases for TOS? the triple slot bases for fireteams have alot of space and potential to be mini scenic bases -- different themes such as London / Malifaux's breaches / African Plains / Aquatic Environment? / Infested London? Inspired by the landscapes and environment provided by the artwork released so far. If these were made i'd buy em!

  23. Absolutely awesome Jamie, spoilt for choice on which Malifaux story to turn into a film! you could put up a poll (can you on this forum?) that would be great. Kickstarter may also be a source of funding. The first story in the M2E rulebook, where the wastrel who wins a gamble, starts a bar fight, gets taken away to get munched by Neverborn could be a good one. I dont think its very special effects intensive - but it has so many settings as they run around the streets of Malifaux. The pace and intensity of that story made it one of the most vivid pieces in my mind. Excited to see it happen!
  24. Finally got around to painting Mr Tannen! Being such a small puny model I had to find a way to spice him up, I'm relatively happy, just wondered if I shouldve gone with a smaller - full round table or not.. I would appreciate some feedback!
  25. Is anyone passing by Stafford or anywhere close to Stafford En Route to Stockport on Sunday? Same problem as last time, I have a serious problem getting to the game Centre on time on Sunday - the earliest train will arrive at 10:21am, way too late! Where are you guys driving in from? Maybe we can figure out somehwere I can hop on your car enroute to stockport, - I am happy to chip in for fuel. if not I may have to sort out accommodation but the first option would be much better If I can help it. Thanks! Nickie
