Trophies are the best prize imo

My thoughts And not to weigh in two footed not a fan of the cash prize, although kinda cool, I'd much rather if there is cash prize it be in a form of a donation to charity. However I do really like the idea, I do really like the format, and would be very happy to get an invite (if I met the criteria) and attend! I think it's the best of both worlds to run both this kinda event and the masters! Ticks boxes for all different people and could see a rise in story encounters, which is nice, more types of events imo are only a good thing. Taking it a step further you could have this winner vs the masters winner for lols

I'm very pro this idea, just wasn't sure whether to suggest it, I love the idea of each region having a gt and then the nationals, these people plus the former master winner get invites. The likleyhood is there will be crossover between the top 14 and the gt winners. I like to think like Connor said it would bring the region's closer together with more people travelling and mingling together more. Do the gts need to have the invite to masters? Of course not Would it enhance them, and hopefully draw more players to them, I think so.

Ran one effectively in turf war with Molly, however spare parts meant there was two of them top of turn two. I think a rogue and a shikome make a nice tag team, but expensive. I feel there is legitimacy is runny one with Tara and the non soulstone use upgrade for assaination shenanigans, but that isn't tested by any means Only started redabbling with ressers

What is this event? Well it’s none other than the English Grand Tournament When and where? To be held at Wayland games 4th and 5th June. This event is of course open to everyone and just a great excuse for 2 days of Malifaux goodness Nitty gritty Gaining Grounds 2016 will be adhered to (with some jiggery pokery for proxies etc) FIXED FACTION or DUAL MASTER (choose one master, announce before each game which faction he’s being played as) 50SS 5 games Rough time schedule 10:30 till 17:30 day one 11:00 till 16:30 day two (I envision an earlier finish than this however) There is plans for some sort of evening shindig but this is in Snezzlys hands (being the local TOWIE) Food won’t be included either day, feedback from Wayland (so I have been told) is people prefer not to have it included so we have removed it. Ticket price - £20 We have tried to keep it down as two day weekends can spiral with travel and accommodation arrangements. Aim will be for Podium (1, 2 & 3), painted, best sports and best in faction trophies. Of course this is viable and for Lols why the hell not. But for me levys strength is summoning from desolate soul, actively having the summoning as your game plan for me isn't the greatest use of his ap.

Unless strat is collect the bounty or reckoning, it's gotta be desolate soul. 2 stones is low, I would up his cache personally, but could oath Keeper it up

My fear is although fun, story encounters rarely get the numbers of attendees as a standard tournie. Tbh I don't know why this is, I assume it's the old lure of rankings perhaps? (I know that would have been true for me end or last beginning or this year, however not so much now) Myself, I would love to support this, but with limited passes next year and reliance on others who drive (really need to sort that out) will prob hampen my attendance! So in short, I would like to see story encounters but I genuinely can't see it getting the numbers (such a naysayer I know) As always a big thumbs up for putting your own time into developing the hobby Mike!

Saw this list run very effectively at a tournament a couple of weeks ago! It is themey, it is a bit gimmicky but it has legs imo Desolate soul on levy, possibly oathie or just take the stones Turn one and two you gotta be a bit cautious but turn 3 onwards it should be fair game! Model activation will be balanced through desolate soul and mechanical rider
