despite his size, he's still an arachnid, so he can get to all kinds of places. His damage gride is excellent with weak dmg higher than most heavy hitter with equally excellent cb and he can easily pump out 4 attacks. Decapitate is a ridiculously good trigger. Steam Cloud can also be pretty fun to use. Summary: His dmg output alone makes the 10ss worth it plus he has some utility purposes.

Ok, i still have a few questions about protect chaining. So armor only affects the last model in the chain and takes all the dmg or is it distributed like warmachine bastions?

recently a friend of mine faced McMourning. Big reason he lost was that Grave Spirit linked with McMourning giving him 2 armor. I thought Grave Spirit could only link w/ undead and that McMourning wasnt undead.

youre clearly getting Dougie's Avatar so i am not going to bother buttering him up. Seamus' avatar, i dont recall much. but i believe he makes terrifying seem viable and, you know, smashes face which makes the belles even more valuable to him. He kind of does the same being all tanky but with some obvious differences here and there. Nicodem, honestly, i thought he had a weird avatar. His avatar seems to, IMO, to be doing the exact same thing, but better, like, a LOT better. So if you dont like playing him, save on buying this guy for later. Kirai is a great master to play with an.......interesting avatar. My problem with her is that 6-10ss are going to be spent on Seishin (though they are a great cannon fodder/support model). Her avatar is what it looks like: Ikiryo on steroids/growth hormones. See, this means that kirai, once manifested, has lost on some of her abilities. She loses the ability to summon (though she can make seishin in the ezxact same way still) and some movement shenanigans (though she still has some, but only some of them are reliable imo) in return she gets the ability to hurt. So you have to absolutely certain more things dont need to be summoned when manifesting. Id recomend buying her only if you really think kirai is fun to play with seeing as her avatar is more of a last resort

the fact that Von Schill has a gun and doesnt suk w/ it, IMO is reason alone to field over molly. BUT, Von Schill can very quickly eat SS which Dougie can easily get a lot of so the have that almost-synergy thing going on. Plus he is one the most mobile models in the game

lol, i remember my friends thinking this when we started. It wouldnt make sense if that was the case since you might as well have had put them in the list in the 1st place. Btw, shikome take 2 seishin to summon, i didnt notice that when i started playing malifaux. Oh and her spirit swap thing lets u swap a spirit in danger with a healthier one so the hurt one is closer to heal and hopefully out of danger

Hi, ive been playing malifaux for a while now. When i started, i had a limited budget. To save some money, my first 25ss list was this: -Kirai -5 Seishin -Dead Rider -Lost Love since then i her w/ Dead Rider like a crutch. I have tried lists with gaki and some onryo but they were kinda schmeh though i frequently have had games with a summoned shikome which went well. I feel like i should get better w/ onryo. Ive heard of lists with hanged for their baleful aura, but are theyre other tactics for onryo (and maybe gaki)?
