  1. First - thanks for the work you and Nathan and everyone else have put into Malifaux. It is a refreshing change of pace for my tabletop gaming. I just found out that you painted the Ramos that is on the site with three colors. Three. And the freehand base effect. ... ... Is there a YouTube channel you have that shows some of your in-progress work? I'll never have the ability you do, but would enjoy watching your work. Thanks again for everything you and Wyrd bring to the industry - I look forward to more in the future. :D Brad

  2. How about making a box? Decorate it like your favorite crew, or just antique it out. Or go poking around a thrift store or a flea market - maybe something will click for you. Otherwise I have nothing useful to contribute. And thanks for the links - I was looking for those exact things.
  3. What, no Nekima? D: I know, I know - unsubstantiated web postings are nothing to be worked up over. hahahahaha
  4. Might also help if you put Malifaux in the description.
  5. I fear ever pulling your name in a tourney draw - jackiechan.jpeg
  6. Dear Doctor - keep your monocle on the goal: Bloodstones. Lots of 'em. We hire these people to perform tasks for us, and we expect a return on our investment.
  7. I enjoy the writeups - keep the coming!
  8. Love the writeups and the progression in this thread, regardless of font or color!
  9. Welcome to the gang, and congratulations on deciding to start the game! I have never played Wanrmahordes, so cannot speak to the example you list. I can say that there is one example in the rulebooks of a character that has evolved; Hamelin. There is also a master that has two versions of sculpts; Pandora. If this is to be a pattern, supposition is that the third or fourth book will deal with the "leveled-up" Masters. But I am positive someone will correct or clarify my poor explanation. Again, welcome!
  10. I have seen and admired the posters created here thus far; I found this artist while looking at art deco images. I'm sure someone could use something from here. Alphonse Mucha
  11. Oops - thanks for correcting that. My apologies. :footinmou
  12. Corypheee are constructs, thus Ramos has influence.
  13. Also, there are two different types of Vallejo Paints - VGC and VMC. From what I understand, the VMC has more pigment and dries faster than the VGC. The VGC is better for drybrushing and wet blending however. This website has some good basics.
  14. Depending on whom you ask, you will receive a different answer. I checked out the information that Les posted at his website. Granted, it's not scientific, but Les does some amazing paintwork. Look for his video comparing the four/five major brands of paints. It's a start, but not the end or answer. awesomepaintjob.com
  15. Female with hammer? Try this: Eriika
  16. Thank you for this - it helps me to understand the dynamics and synergy better!
  17. Thanks for all the responses - I will be sure to be exact in the game terms I use when asking questions; I can see how that would cause confusion. I look forward to lurking and learning more!
  18. I cannot find the specific rulebook page, but I recall a few rules about totems. 1. A totem is linked to either a unique model by name or by faction. 2. A model may only have one totem connected to it at one time. 3. A totem that is not connected with an appropriate target it removed from the game. 4. Colette may have three Mechanical Doves connected at one time due to From The Hat. Ergo, the special rule supersedes the one Totem rule? Am I correct in my logic path? Thanks!
