  2. More importantly, any word on when puppets will be restocked?
  3. We had Malifaux die down here as well. My LGS started running Warhammer tournaments in October, and for various reasons, I started playing 40k. Now I've kidnapped several Warhammer players and Malifaux is back on track. Interesting how Warhammer tournaments helped to revitalize Malifaux in my LGS...
  4. Um, correct me ifI'm wrong, but since DG lacks the martyr ability, wouldn't the sorrow slowly kill DG via Leech Life?
  5. Location: Neverland Games 4 E Main St Waynesboro, PA 17268 February 19, 2012 Registration: 10am First Round: 11am Online Registration: http://www.tabletoptournaments.net/t3_tournament.php?tid=8590 This Out of the Box Tournament will be a 25SS Tournament. All crews must start with the contents of a starter box. If the starter box does not use 25SS, players can then add models to their crew. If you're a new player, or just want to start a new crew, entry fees will be free to anyone who buys a starter box up until the day of the tournament. This is a great opportunity for new players to try their hand in a tournament, and a good challenge for veterans who are used to running more complex crews. Being a beginner friendly tournament, there are NO painting requirements; the only requirement is that your models are able to stand on their bases. Lamination of stat cards will be offered for free during registration, don't forget your dry-erase markers! Any questions, PM me or call Neverland Games at (717)655-5347 Miniature night is every Wednesday from 5pm-Close, open table space is available as well as demos for Malifaux and Puppet Wars.
  6. I like to use a "shirts and skins"method, all my pwars bases are colored, and so one team gets to sit inside 30mm bases
  7. I think at this point, expansions to the rules, like Warhammer40I Apocalypse would be a good direction to go, with special rules for larger games so that they don't become quite so exhausting.
  8. Gunfighter says if the model is engaged, the gun becomes melee. Using that definition, it'd use bash if not engaged, but if engaged with another model, or the casting model even (i don't believe self loathing is a ranged spell) the gun will have gained the melee characteristic and thus could be used. Just my thoughts...
  9. It was replaced by most abilities spelling it out, be interested to see if these abilities get a v2 that say no other models may be summoned.
  10. I would say no for this question, seems like it'd work just like Rare models. Zoraida's proven is a bit more complicated.
  11. No, the box opens removes immunities to WP duels. Ryle is not immune to WP duels, he is immune to abilities that cause Wp duels. So while the box opens works on Rule, it doesn't negate Breach Psychosis. On a side note, Insidious' Neverborn Whispers does negate Breach Psychosis because it removes any immunities involving WP duels
  12. Email nathan@wyrd-games.net , Wyrd is pretty good about when things get botched.
  13. Response to OP: Skipping activation does not count for Alps, Poison, or Regeneration. Don't think it would count for DnD as it specifically says if the model already activated. Link above explains if paralyzed after first activation.
  14. Incorrect, see here: http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25899&highlight=reactivate+paralyzed Reactivate is given multiple times Reactivate cancels paralyzed Reactivate allows a second activation Reactivate cannot be used to activate a third time Multiple instances of Reactivate both cancel paralyzed and allow a Second, but only a Second activation.
  15. I'd say try barter town or the trading board on these forums
  16. I too was disappointed in the components, though I don't have any complaints about the board or hexes, and the minis are great! What's even worse, my LGS owner is colorblind, so he can't see the difference between green and red workbenches, makes it hard for him to play without custom tokens. Still, great game, and I love painting the puppets.
  17. Nope, it is a Wednesday indeed. Our usual minis night, and it coincides with the lgs halloween party on Thursday. Store will be open as late as necessary to facilitate.
  18. It's def legal, but cheese and bad sportsmanship. You could look on the bright side though, that a Som'er crew is nothing without him. And remember, Delivery the Message says leader, not master, so if he hired ophelia, she's a valid target as well.
  19. Welcome! Your models look amazing, I hope you enjoy playing with them, look forward to seeing more
  20. Right, it gets a little confusing because that's how my group used to play it, then were corrected, then falling back was corrected. That, and falling back doesn't happen to often in undead v nightmare games ;-)
  21. That's true, but it's also been said that reactivate cancels out paralyzed like fast cancels slow, the stitched hasn't activated a second time, only canceled paralyze with reactivate, I think a second instance of reactivate would allow a second activation, just like a second instance of fast gives a slowed model 3AP
  22. As far as question 2, pretty sure pine box has a wording like abduction and disappearing act, that if the model is removed from play, the buried model is placed in base contact
