4. OK.... now here is another question, is Sonnia immune to the pyre? Her stat card does not mention anything about immunity to pyre so we played it as she would take damage. But thinking rationally is seems that if se is creating all of these fire spells that surely she would be immune. Just wanted to see what you guys thought :asonnia
5. My best moment of Gencon was when Dan asked a guy if he was interested in speed dating and this guy's response was, "sorry I'm married".:happypuppet2
6. I have seen the completed sculpt and it looks fine, book 3 explains that the event transformed her into a sultry and sexy young woman, who has the temper of a young child and throws fits when she does not get her way, hence the stance of the sculpt. The first appearance of her in book three has her tempting a baker down an back street with some very suggestive language and mannerism. ( lollypop anyone)
7. ok guys, Chompy has been kicking my butt every time i play against him. how do i defeat him, I own every guild piece so give me your ideas!:rocketwho

10. Lucius using his reenforcement spell with Ryle is a great tactic, it is even more effective when you place Ryle closer to Lucius (say about 3 inches) then activate Ryle and then use his ability that causes him to push away from the closest living model (should be Lucius if you plan it right) , this gives you a free move with Ryle and then you still have his extra combat and the two standard activation points. So you can move Ryle from your reserve, place him closest to you model and wait until next activation. (Your enemy will key on Ryle but it is almost impossible to take him down in one turn) Next activation you get to bring the pain. You make your four inch push then: 1) you can fire your gun 3 times 2) fire once and then charge(my favorite) or 3) fire twice and move once ....etc. There are many different combos that make it a lethal punch. Just make sure you advise you opponent with what activation point you are using to avoid any confusion. You can also before Lucius activation ends sacrifice a model to reactivate and then on the reactivation move the guardian near Lucius for provide extra support. The Lucius reinforcement tactic is also deadly if you are are close combat and bring the peacemaker or the Lawyer into the mix. Try them all and see what you like best.... there is nothing better than seeing you opponent get worried when you bring a peacemaker from your rear lines to the front lines in one move !
11. Great night last night. I set up for my demo at 6:00 pm and stayed until Midnight. Met 3 people who were interested in playing the game. I wonder what length is appropriate to use in a demo game? Only completing 1 round does not seem like it gives an interested party a good feel for the game, but 5 rounds keeps you tied up for an extended period of time and you may miss an opportunity to introduce the game to other people. What do you guys think? I would love to get your opinion on this matter. http://wyrd-games.net/images/smilies/Lucius.gifhttp://wyrd-games.net/images/smilies/guildguardcaptian.gif

15. Sorry for the lapse in updates, had a death in the family and my back went out in the same week.http://wyrd-games.net/images/icons/icon9.gif However, in the world of Malifaux it has been a full-out blood bath. The Neverborn have been providing the dry soil of Malifaux with fresh showers of blood every week. The dreamer and his "friend" Lord Chompy Bits have made it their personal task to make sure not an inch of soil remains dry as countless bodies have been eviscerated between the crimson-stained, teeth of the hulking giant. And Pandora has been quite happy to envelop the area with her presence, causing some men to succumb into madness. The Arcanists have provided a mechanical magic show that has been effective. Ramos's swarms have been able to overwhelm some foes, but other opponents have caused the mechanical monsters to fall into useless pieces of rusted metal. The beautiful showgirls have held there own against the hoards of Malifaux but Colette's tricks are not holding her audiences captive as they once did. The Arcanists can only hope that Colette has a few more tricks that she can pull from her hat. The Outcasts have been reaping the rewards of mercenaries. Each week they have collected fees from any faction and building an empire of land and wealth. At the head of this band of mavericks is the Freikorp, which seems to have provided some guidance and direction to a group who is known for it's individuality. The Guild has lost several key areas of the city but not without taking a few souls with them. Tired of the rising body count the Guild has called for all of the factions to meet in a central location for a "peaceful discussion" concerning the future of Malifaux. Which means only one thing. In celebration of the conclusion of our first Malifaux Tournament, Art of War gaming and miniatures will be conducting a final battle royal ! 16. Week one: trading bullets and blood red soil! Guild: The Witch Hunters were able to win one attack, but lost the courthouse to the Neverborn and the Ortega's were not able to take control of the Arcanists lab. Reserectionists: NO SHOW ---- NO actions taken Arcanists- Colette's magic bedazzled the Ortega clan but was no help when she tried to attack Lord Chompy.( I guess kids don't like magic!) Neverborn: Was able to defend there own land and made several attacks in guild controlled land. Outcasts: The Outcasts made two contracted attacks to collect points, but did they burn any bridges in the process? News from the Badlands is that the gremlins have been heard collecting materials to make a move out of the swamp! In addition, Granny Ortega returns from her vacation this week, will she be able to whip the family back into shape? Only time will tell......
