when u are in melee u can use any spell which doesnt have the ranged () symbol next to its range. page 41 of the rules manual

u only need to meet aditional requirements (discard soulstone/corpse scrap counter etc) if u succeed to cast the spell. u still need to discard even if ur opponent resists as well

they r only slow the first time they r summoned (start of first activation phase/entropic transformation), they only recieve slow if they activate the turn they r summoned and since it is in the closing phase they cannot activate, otherwise there would be no point in them having any other actions since they have to walk once an activation

i wouldnt take all four in a game even when taking his avatar since he can summon one however i often take one or two (normally hooded and/or dead), levis avatar is fairly easy to manisfest, u have to die twice and summon 2 spa's using necrotic unmaking. i think it is only worth it in larger games where u can take 3 of the riders and other things as well since in a 35ss list 3 riders and the avatar is between 27 and 29ss so not much for anything else. lazaraus is an anti guild construct (bonus to attacking non construct guild) who can gain abilities from other constructs with a 0 (either for the turn or for the game by discarding 2 scrap counters) he also has melee expert with a trigger to get blasts off the damage and a grenade launcher with blast damage. he also has armour +1 which cannot be ignored. the bonus in a levi list is that with so many constructs levi can take lazarus can get a lot of useful abilities (hard to wound, slow to die, use soulstone just to name a few). generally i take a crew that can deal with the strategy i am playing, fast significant stuff for destroy the evidence, models with staying power for claim jump etc. while levi deals with taking out ur opponents important models with help from a few heavy hitters.

you couldnt take the hodgepodge in a crew containing freikorps due to the one special forces rule, which isnt an ability so cannot be ignored

dont think so since nectrotic unmaking states enemy models and they dont drop counters when they die so other models like molly couldnt get free corpse counters

they dont dissapear because avatar levi still counts as levi so they still come back extra activations mainly, believe they can still use their version of magical extension to cast his spells.

one thing to point out is that von schill is Henchman 4 so he can only have 4 soulstones in his starting pool, both of your lists have him with 5

She is very good with the viks as another magical melee model however she is very fragile. Her 0s are all good depending on the situation as well. If u get her u may want to add the Ten Thunders Bros as well

Alice needs to win the duel and the trigger counts as the duel been drawn (so normally a double neg flip) then she draws a card for each wound suffered

make a friendly model ignore terryfiying and nicos buff r the only things i can think of, prob more tho neither r useful for levi however

yeah the librarian is great since her healing spell affects both viks at once, however unless von schill is nearby she is very easy to kill and will prob become target number one for your opponents. the specialist is great against anything with armour or models that like to group up, plus its hard to get rid of in melee, just beware of obey. the trapper is a very good ranged model that can hide very well and the standard korpsmen are 4ss fast significant models so good for objectives and can still put out decent damage.

no because he is soulless, same with alyce and the waifs. graverobber only drops a counter when a living or undead model dies

that crew only adds up to 28 which leaves 7ss at 35 which should be fine for the viks and von schill

because crews containing levi can only hire undead, construct and solus, which perdita is none of. levi can only brawl with hoffman, ramos and hamelin

i would read it that since there is no "may" in the ability he has to boost his cast at all times unless the mechanical attendant is nearby allowing him to ignore it anytime he wants to
