  1. you do realize the problem with jack daw is her crew of witchlings and their magical wepons thier toting right? also she can chew through your hand like its her job as her cb trigger and if she brings nino next time will make quick work of your ss if you wanna keep him alive. she has a hard time dealing with a spider swarm tho as it has armor and evasive and it heals itself. also if you get close enough the disrupt magic will put a damper on her parade.

  3. witchling stalkers also give kirai alot of trouble as they are cb6 w/crit strike built in and magical. also having df5 and higher wp makes it tough to actually hit. also the executioner is a tough one to put down as shikomes are the only model to put him down in a turn, and having him protected buy the guardian meens kirais in alota trouble.
  4. wheres the zombie chuaua? also if you really wanna bring bettie you could replace sebastion with her. just try a couple of games and see wich one fits your play style better.
  5. i have a few question for the masses. anyone else notice that she doesn't say she can hire a totem? do you think this was an oversight/misprint or intentional? or will she get her own m&su asset totem?
  6. i hate to see Levi, Pandora, and the dreamer (sadly not the dreamer/lcb himself just the crew and what he does for it) levi can outright kill anything in the game as long as hes within 10" of it Pandora is such a hard model to pin down and hit as she has alot of evasive abilities. and the dreamer plops down problematic models out of nowhere so you dont get a chance to hit them outside of combat before they hit you, and for point costs have some of the most effective generic models in the game (stitched, alps and insidious madness')
  7. wk 5 and spell rg of 8/10 i cant remember wich she manages to keep up but then again i dont move to far with kirai as i summon alot and tend to only venture out when you wanna drop a frothing mad shikome or an ikiryo on somebody and then swirling spirtis back to a sheshin (usually get off into the spirit world on datsue ba or a hanged, but if i dont then i onryo spam by summoning ikiryo and turning it into an onryo)
  8. i find bringing a friekorps librarian is essential when i play as it heals kirai, nets you an extra card, and better your chances to get your spells off without cheating with her +flip on cast buff. also you could have fun and bring big scarry models like the dead rider or a rogue necromancy and turn em into a spirit but its unlikely as you need a high crow to do it and cant use ss to do it. but you could bring bettie and a dog, chop up the dog with datsue ba's spell to turn it into a gaki or onryo (be sure to focus cast to better get her trigger and cheat dmg as the dog is hard to wound) summon bettie an have the LL turn her into a spirit and let the shenanigans begin.
  9. you could cut a spider for an essence of power for kearis and just make your third on your first turn. you also might wanna consider joss as he is also a heavy hitting M&SU member
  10. dont forget the two construct masters, hoffman and Ramos. theres also molly if your including henchman, but they dont count as masters in a brawl as they cant lead crews in a brawl.
  11. so instead of slurids have you tried out shikome with marcus, theyre about if not faster than the slurids(only if you fail to leap ) and hit alot harder. also they make marcus hit harder with hunting partner and have a little more survivability as they are spirits. also malifaux raptors are amazing to bring for the simple fact of being a good defend me target with the jakalope. also maranda is a fun 7 pt shikome to bring that can heal herself and hit pretty hard.
  12. ive tried it before and it works quite nice actually as she really only competes for masks with your totem but you bring the grave spirit so its irrelivant. she actually gives you good support and summoning abilities.
  13. but i thought you could use ressers as your main faction pick nicodem as your leading master and mercinary levy into the list and thats how the two could be paird as the rules for merc masters in a brawl let em be paired that way.
  14. or you could try and run 4 desprate mercs and run them like mad bombers on a death wish. itd give alot of jerky to the sniper of the friekorps and itd be funny to see a bunch of bums runnin at you with swords and guns
  15. well you could be silly and guard levi witht he guardian and if it comes down to it just absorb the eot wd he suffers if both waifs are put dwn. but sillyness aside you could bring a belle or two to pull stuff around like your waifs or thier austingers. also with v3 getting a second waif is important as it makes a single austinger less crucial, but it will still limit the mobility of levi.
  16. depends on the schemes, but more toys in lower point games i think helps as out activating someone in low point games is kinda major. plus friekorpsman are a steal at 4 pts just herd em near von to make em really worth thier points.
  17. since its a brawl why not go with 8 dolls and cut killjoy for rusty as the extra 2 cards help emensly in a brawl.
  18. maybe there are twin bells that dance together like a corphee duet. but wait can bells even dance? so its more like shamble together?, thatd be something to see a shambling belle duet
  19. well im pretty sure even if you wipe your opp you can still lose in tourny play if you still dont complete your objective. also why the jack daw? repeat on arcane resivior is silly and shouldnt be done to often as the models with it are pricy (vomit worm aside...... i hate that model/stats). plus the movement on the ice golem is so horrid he spends the first 2 if not 3 getting into range. why not try a cerberus or a duet, the mobility on those 2 makes it so you can complete the objectives alot easier and let you harass super ranged stuff like nino and other rg'd combat stuff trouble till raspy shows up to ruin the party
  20. also link with the totem allows you to focus cast raspy's spells wich can hurt ppl and give you better chances of succeding on the spells.
  21. yeah thats true but thier insignificant so no treasures for them. but slowing people can be good in itself and with hard to kill be really anoying to get off people. plus they tie up shooters and casters really fast to let your hammers like levi/deso engine or Mcm/flesh construct get there without too much chaff.
  22. terrifying is hamlins bane, also not cheating gives you an edge too so having high CB guys like punk zombies tend to help as well. youll also have a hard tome coming across corpse counters as the rats and hamlin himself prevent corpse counters from droping.

  25. so if models dont recieve ap till they activate then whats the point of taking the average general AP between models if only one gets ap at the moment?
