well if your using von schill to get rid of counters i think your points are better spent else where. disection leaves no counters, and you should ignore hoff and go after his goons. plus datsue ba does a better job of staying alive than an onryo and its only 2 pts more. plus dont underestimate the power of flesh constructs

well for the first turn or second depending on the mission i summon onryo by evolving my ikiryo, it costs 4 wd and 2 cards but i tend to have a librarian or some form of heal to make it next to nothing to do. i tend to save the shikomes for later during an out activated turn.

but if you have dogs next to ralfkin and use the action to give cc's to a master ralfkin gets free bp's as the cc's are sacrifised from the dogs

the Weaver Widow and Iggy both have a henchman affinity in book 3. Affinity is a "May hire" and henchman "can only hire". is the current "can only vs may" rulings going to stand with affinity and give them a re wording or is "can only vs may" going to change? also on a similar note Mctavish has covered in muck which is a may ability and Sommers good ol boys can only hire gremlins, is this wording also subject to change?

anyone else think that his avatars gonna get outa controll if he decides to kill random construct he reactivated as part of his manifestation req then gaining it for the rest of the game? i think its a little broke sauce but then again i dont see too many hoff players anywhay.

Ralfkins trigger amputate has a separate dmg flip, would this second dmg flip give you a second bodypart as part of his laston knife?

well dont forget about levi's ability unstable necromancy killing himself during the closing phase as well. so unless you use the pig bomb to kill a waif your not killing levi, but if you do kill levi your just doing him a favor

you say that a book is no problem but those are usually what i throw into attacks as the masters require the other suits (depending on which one) and if brought with Nico he'll be fighting over them and im pretty sure hes got dibs. most stuff i bring as support require masks or rams and usually my dump is books.

my pick would be a star #1 Bettie. i would like to se her be the future role model for all crooligans and a henchwoman they want to aspire to be. pluss fluf wise shes not getting as much love as id like but thatd be my reson for wanting her to become a henchman.

am i the only one who thinks seduction is overrated? its a 4" spell wich requires a 7+of books. its only redeaming factor i think is that it auto triggers fatal distraction. but im more happy about the 12" undress wich only needs a 7+ of anything.

pandora would give his crew one hell of a run for its money as you can pretty much take nix outa the game and any rat catchers he makes wich are your 2 bigger problems.also making rats fall back makes them really useless. plus having a lilitu you can pretty much bring the stolen to you one at a time and tear through them that way.

all that and i cant believe no mentions of Vikings. i think they could be sort of an off branch to the cult of december that, doesnt worship but, pays respect to the wendigo. plus i would love to see a berserker master who could possibly swing at his own crew but hits like a truck. plus a model that brings a party keg thats a "stationary",the one to bring it can move it, aura buff/object would be cool(similar to bringin 2 models for 1 like the showgirls). plus the crew could be the reason that the neverborn have a serious "get off my lawn" syndrom as they party too loud and pillage thier stuffs.

all that and no bettie? she would be the bane of some armies as she kills with relative ease, and having sever spine can ruin certain crews along with masters.

dont forget hes not too bad in combat either. his laston knife has a 2" reach and a cg trigger for more dmg wich requires a suite most ressers dont use. that paired with auto getting a BP and pasion for work he can put out the good hurt. side note does anyone know if poison goes for blasts markers too? i know it was brought up with the BB shamen and was wondering what the ruling was.

well you could always hold someone hostage when they fail the terrifying by casting the paralize spell on em and dance around with them in your melee.

yeah but they are so so on objectives as there interact bonus move is a push and it'd be better if it were a walk. but they also get spirit on a df trigger (suit not included), also when theyre in theyre mist they put up in adition to cover they get +mv/+df going to 6/7 respectivly and for 3 pts its awsome.

anyone else think that levi avatar is missing some oomph? i mean summoning a rider is cool and all but you have to sacrifice a model and a SS. his list for the avatar is verry tailored and limited and if they kill your little guys before he goes you could end up not having someone to sacrifice to bring out. also his cg is 10 like the other riders but he doesnt have mounted combat or melee exp unless the mech rider is on the board. i can see a few problems as you have to waste so much time if you want to get mileage out of his avatar i wonder if he can recover from time spent manifesting + summoning a rider, where as regular leve would have had 2 turns slinging spells and extra ss killing peoples as its what he is good at.

man i must be silly but in all my kirai games i never have summoned an onryo. i think they're too weak to actually achieve anything. but then again i only brought datsue ba in 2 games with kirai. on the other hand with seamus i tend to bring datsue ba as a spirit marshal for the hanged and daw if i bring him too. using lure and guide spirits get the hanged into combat and giving -wp flips early is really good. then using weigh sins to finish off what the hanged haven't is really good. also seamus has a hard time with armor and skinning knife helps.

well i also find it as a good transition (unlike lady j and lillith) as you go from ranged support cannon to melee gorilla of doom. plus you dont have to go too far out of your way to manifest either, but you do loose the ability to rienforce your ranks but i think if you bring molly you will not loose it entirely. also a side note anyone think its silly that onryo only go to tf11 but anyone who doesnt have it goes to 12?
