This question has been bugging me since the day I laid my eyes on the rules that said I get to pick my list after the mission is known (which, to be honest, was only about two weeks or so ago ):
When expanding your collection, do you go all the way with one faction or spread out and buy whatever you like from any faction? I'd imagine that having more figures from a faction gives you significantly more choices, thus making it better for, say, tournament games where you are stuck with your faction but it does mean that sometimes you end up buying models you don't really like. "Spreading out" seems to be more of a casual approach where you just buy what you like.
What do you guys think? Is it truly just a "do you want to play competitively or do you just want to collect" situation? Or is having a large collection an overrated advantage?
Thanks!
P.s.
In my case its a little complex, I chose Leveticus, which by himself, has forced me to buy a whole ton of random odds and ends from all the different factions. The issue is Outcasts are less unified and frankly, I've got a whole lot more Resurrectionist stuff than any other faction.....
If anyone has any input on my situation I'd greatly appreciate it
