  1. I have approved a request with the same id as your forum id but you wont be notified of the approval as I was told you did not submit an email address. If that is you you are all good to sign in and start.
  2. I personally like Mei Feng for Reconnoiter as if you spread your contructs around she can bounce from one quarter to another to lend a hand clearing out and putting another body in that quarter. Kang and the Rail Golem provide 2 solid anchor points to swing around on while Railworkers and Metal Gamin can be tough to shift.
  3. For me Seismic Claws and Vapormancy. I like having a Ca long range melee attack that can also potential hand out blanket burning. Other upgrades depend on my strat and schemes, misdirection can be nice but I generally find the way I use her is that she is out of range for reprisal most of the time anyway.
  4. I have wanted to give Mei Feng a run for a while and decided that I should stop waiting around and actually do it. I decided to start with some of the 'less interesting' models and use Mei and some of the big fun models as a reward. So without further ado I give you my concept model ... a moleman I decided to use a pair of Puppet Wars Molemen as my molemen as I thought that their construct nature fits the rest of the crew better. The rest of the models for the crew list are: Mei Feng Emberling Kang 2 Railworkers 2 Metal Gamin Johan 3 Steam Arachnids Miss Step Rail Golem I am about halfway through the arcahnids and the second moleman at the moment and hope to have some pics up later this week when they are finished, then 1 Railworker.   5. Blue bottles aren't too bad was sung all up my legs when I was seven hurt for a few days the bastard got caught in my board shorts. As for a blue ringed octopusand box jelly even if someone's heart stops you keep doing cpr for hours if you have to as eventually the paralysis venom wears off
  6. I have found both teh Tora and Archers are invaluable and generally try and fill in 2 of each. The Archers provide good support and shooting into combat and not having to randomise opens up a whole lot of shooting options that otherwise wouldnt exist. They are board control models. Have an Archer tag an enemy with slow and Ototo can back it up hitting them with his bonuses against models with slow. Torakage have all round solid stats and come into their own as objective grabbers when you have the smoke and shadows upgrade (which can go on Yamaziko, Ototo or Misaki). The board control that the smoke provides can be very useful as it doesnt affect most of your own support. Leaf Steps gives good mobile fire when combined with Rapid fire so they arent being stuck in one place, overall they are nice and mobile.
  7. Nah, it would be too OP there is no way any Aussie fauna could translate to Malifaux, they would kill anything Malifaux without breaking a sweat.
  8. I'm looking more and more at just playing 10T, Im splay Mei as an Arcanist at the moment but have everyone else as more 10T. Guild are now my second faction and I havent touached my ressers since the wave 1 playtest and not really intending to either, just liking others more.

  10. Locally the rulebooks and decks have only just come into stock, I'm not sure what it has been like elsewhere in the world. As people havent had much exposure yet to M2E I think its important to have some more games played and get to know the system before tryig to write in depth entries on PMF. If people want to write some skeleton entries for models at the moment that would be great and we can then build entries further from there
  11. A reminder that Skulls is on this Saturday and that there will be a single figure painting contest held over lunch as well.
  12. You see I definately play her and her crew as defensive and control, she still kills things well enough without being hyper aggresive. You do want another beater in her crew though when going down that route.
  13. Assemble the entire hat and aventail assembley first then glue the head by itself onto the torso. Once both are completely dry and cured put some glue on the top of the head and then wait again until thats done before going further

  15. I will be running through demos of M2E at Outpost on Tuesday night the 10th of September. The club is located at the South Perth Community Centre cnr South Terrace and Sandgate Street South Perth. Club opens at 7:15pm and I'm usually there a few minutes beforehand
  16. I would look at Guild Guard, Death Marshalls, The Judge and Austringers as a starting point with McMourning along with a Witchling, Executioner and Nurses plus Sebastian. McMourning can play support behind front lines early game switching up mid game to get in close and slice and dice, his support comes in two forms with his upgrade where he can either make his crew punchier or interact better, hence the models i listed above. An Austringer that ignores hard to wound and armour is very nice back field support and an executioner that doe sthe same is very scary. Nurses can heal your crew while the witchling removing paralysed. The Judge likes targetting undead of which McM makes models that are close to him undead. I like the flexibility and 'switch' nature that McM has going for him in The Guild
  17. A reminder to all that Faux Pas is on again tomorrow night at Outpost. It will be a good time to have a look at the 2nd edition of t he game and for those wanting a little more I was thinking of giving the story scenarios section a little bit of a run in preparation for Skulls Malifaux. I will also have a couple of crews ready to run demo games too.
  18. I like him more as a Guild master than a resser now. With his On the Clock upgrade he gains a lot of utility, handing out precise to guild heavy hitters is nice (and can even hand it out to Austringers too for some long ranged hitting power.
  19. Hi All, Right now Wyrd have launched Malifaux M2E at Gencon so we here at Pullmyfinger are in for a major update with brand new entries required for all the Wave 1 release models. I would ask anyone who feels that they can contribute to spend a little time on an entry and go from there. We have brand new faction home pages already set up and even the Gremlins managed to sneak in there somehow. A few house keeping things though: 1. Have another read through the Helping out and Style Guide pages on the sidebar. 2. Don't work from the files that were in the Open beta, they may be close to the final product but there are bound to be a couple of changes from the beta to actual release. 3. Theory is great but try and base the entries off actual table experience, yes this will mean that it will take time for some entries to be filled but its better that than a lot of theoryfaux. 4. Use the new templates, they are each marked clearly as M2E, please dont create a new page and not add content, it helps track progress a lot better when a new page is added that content is being provided as well. 5. We are seeing the birth of a new edition, there are discussion tabs available on each page so lets all have healthy debate on models if its needed.   22. Killjoy is very nice with Tara and deserves a healthy amount of respect. Activation order is very important with Tara especially if you want to get your bury triggers (HINT: do those before pine boxing with Death Marshalls), a buried Killjoy. If you have taken Eternal Jorney as an upgrade you can have Tara being quite decent in melee and potentially healing herself as well plus should she bit ethe dust you have an instant popping out Killjoy. Its a crew that thrives on applying pressure, and you start looking at your control hand very diffferently.
  23. She's definately a M2E master, look how she repurposes Fast/Slow and Bury. McMourning does that to poison, Mei Feng and Sonnia to burning. What she does though is so intergral in ho wher crew works though and you can forgo the bury stuff to focus on fast/slow and vice versa. She does have a bit of learning curve
