I've managed to keep my NY Resolution of about 10 years now. Have no more resolutions. It's working great! Haven't fallen off the band wagon yet!

Thanks for the info and the link guys. I'm using VMC black red, vibrant blue, red, yellow and white for the muscle. I just need to bring the highlights up a bit more I think. Looking at the link I'm now and I don't think the horse anatomy translates really well with the hooded rider piece. Also, plastination renders the muscle really light red. I wanted something that looked much fresher and still full of blood. I.E. freshly skinned. I will increase the whiteness of the tendon material though as well as bringing up the highlights on the muscle fibers.

Very nice Tang! (Where is your old avatar? I want more 1ups!) It needs paint (Duh) and embellishments. Are you planning on just adding paint or adding detritus and the like? I've not read the background on SDE but being Chibi I would assume that the environment is likely very chibi like as well. MOAR pics please!

Heh. There's always this: A bit more classic (It's what Dan Weber wrote the story after...) However I think having the legs centrally mounted with the house raised up makes for a very dynamic looking piece. It has the added benefit of not really impacting the play space of the table as well. So you get a nice showcase piece that doesn't impact gameplay over much. TBK

A question for you: Why didn't you bevel the masonite bases? I'm also curious as to why you haven't treated the masonite with a bit of texture. It would help the overall look tremendously. Other then those small gripes this looks excellent!

Interesting concept. I like the multiple rooms take on the hut. The legs are interesting as well. I find it a bit odd that you mounted them to the back of the hut instead of the center though. I would thing that making it actually stand would be much easier that way. Also, do you plan on making it work? I have a lot of ideas about how to execute that. When I built mine I was originally going to motorize the thing but the decision was made to not have it move as a moving piece of uncontrolled terrain could potentially damage the figures. Bad juju there. All in all I like it. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

From the other end of the spectrum: Terrainthralls You kind of have to be a terrain junkie for that kind of stuff though. Although there are a decent amount of basic tutorials on the site as well. One of my favorites is to get some rock formations from an aquarium shop and paint them up to look like what ever rocks you want. It's a bit more expensive but with about $50 you can get some great looking terrain that will easily cover the 3x3' board that Malifaux wants.

Absolutely. You can target any model in your crew with any ability that does not specifically state it must target an enemy or non master if you are targeting your master. (Or Henchmen since they have similar rules)

Well. Taht's what you get when you get a logically minded person drunk. Sadly I don't slur my speech or sound drunk when I am in my cups. (I was) And Fool, I loved the discourse. The alcohol did get in the way a bit of clear conversation and debate but I would love to do it again any time. I do have to apologize for being overbearing. I really don't mean to. (Looming comments any one?) However it seems that that is just part of who I am. Also, I still laugh at that picture. Got quite a few comments of "What the HELL is THAT???"
