  1. Been a long time. Good to see you back, Rich still has the couple of the beastmen you speed painted for him back when paint nights were at Be A Gamer. Oh, and I promise that *I* dont bite, thank you very much DH.
  2. So all we need now is dryads with wings to confuse everyone entirely?
  3. I'm constantly dealing with cat hairs, however I make damned sure to put my minis away somewhere they cant get too. Luckily they dont get to go upstairs so there's always a guaranteed safe space.
  4. The new daemonettes are weirdly punk in style. Their not too bad as individual figures, though I really liked the old ones better, but I'll give you that this is a really odd change up for them.
  5. Cant stand it. Anima Tactics is really hit or miss for me, and when it hits, it's hits hard, and when it misses, it makes you wonder what the hell happened to the broad side of the barn.
  6. Not sure what the heck is up with the gnome thing, and I'm stealing the wings off that weird looking insect fairy, but I *love* the rest of them. That dryad is going to be awesome to paint.
  7. Probably because depending on all sorts of stupid variables, including, oh, what decade it is, as this is something that goes back and forth a lot, being married can actually mean you spend significantly *more* on taxes. So I think the fact that they arent actively screwing you is what they're trying to point out.
  8. It's actually hips in relation to shoulders, and while yes, some people are that shape, it feels kinda off to me too.
  9. Oh, those are cool. I definately want that gal and her horse. The little genie guys are rather nifty too, but she rocks.
  10. Kim Possible. I was looking for photo reference for a Halloween costume and boy did I get a shocker. There's nothing quite so scarring as pron of your favorite kids show.
  11. I'll second the use of AVG not being to bad on the resources end.
  12. I've always liked those snipers. Never had any reason to paint them, but always liked them.
  13. Ooooo. I really like the green tones in near her feet. The arm branches seem a bit reddish and dark to me. It works well for framing her face, but maybe if it were closer to the creamy golden color of the flowers? I'm not sure, but the arm color is standing out as too stark a contrast to me.
  14. Oh my god, I won by half a point. That's insane! Thank you guys, this competition has rocked.
  15. Indeed, I'm looking forward to owning some of those kitties.
  16. Some of us prefer the more subtle palette.
  17. Given the quality of this piece, I'd assume the rest of his work is pretty top notch. Is it available anywhere (does he have a business name?) or do I need to impatiently wait for him to get the kinks worked out?
  18. That's pretty sweet. Where do I get these?
  19. I think my point is more that people give suggestions and ask questions in the comments and then never get back to seeing if they got replied to. This tends to mean there isnt a whole lot of discussion about the pieces. Just ok, I voted, maybe I made a comment, oh and that one over there won. It's only when the occasional one gets reposted in the main forums afterwards that discussion ensues and even then it's kinda light, because well everyone looked at it ages ago and it's not fresh in their minds. Anyways, I dont think it's a huge deal, it would just be a nice.
  20. And honestly most people dont go back and look at the comments after the competition. I'm with Squig. It would seriously reduce my annoyance level at the whole anonymous thing.
  21. It's not like there are a whole lot to choose from. The last decently sculpted one I saw was the Magnificent Egos Wild Elf. I find it amusing that to justify a naked man sculptors feel the need to put him in the woods, and make him some kind of fey.
